Recap
The film chronicles a journey of a philatelist, who is moving from place to place in America for his upcoming auction. Along the way, he encounters a woman trying to flee from an abusive relationship. However, their trip doesn’t seem to be going smoothly.
Best Parts
Trevor’s alleged stamp conspiracy intrigues me as it might actually be valid. At the same time, the broader narrative about what’s unfolding remains captivating and leaves us on tenterhooks. This movie, made under a shoestring budget, manages to keep us hooked with its many surprises and solid acting performances all around.
Or:
The claim that Trevor has made about the stamps stirs my curiosity because it could very well be true. On the other hand, the larger narrative of what’s happening keeps us on the edge of our seats, too. Working under a tight budget, this movie delivers an engaging story filled with unexpected twists and excellent performances throughout.
Worst Parts
Although this story is filled with numerous twists and unexpected turns, at times it feels overly complex, and some key moments fail to deliver the intended emotional impact, regardless of the budget.
Final Thoughts –Cover is a tense thriller with plenty of twist.
