This season’s climax on The Block is anticipated to be thrilling, but rumors suggest that Network Nine has already decided upon the winner beforehand.
There’s a lot of chatter among this year’s competitors suggesting that Emma and Ben from House One could potentially win the title on Auction Day.
Based on information from a confidential source, there are rumors that Nine might be favoring the high school sweethearts in an attempt to secure their participation for season 21.
The contestant shared with Daily Mail that, although the points may seem minor, conversations with past Block contestants suggest comparable paths for their progression.
‘It gets more and more obvious as the auction draws closer, we are told.’
In simpler terms, they highlighted past seasons where it was evident which pair would likely win the competition, as they were consistently favored or treated favorably by the show’s producers (Nine).

In the days leading to East Hampton, it was clearly foreseen that Steph and Gian would emerge victorious at the auction, as stated by them.
‘And you could say the same for Maddie and Charlotte in Phillip Island.
At the Channel Nine Upfronts, it was whispered among the ladies that they were confident they’d earn the highest income.
However, Nine have said these claims are ‘false’.
All block auctions are overseen by real estate agents who have a license and are bound by law, following the regulations for public auctions, in an environment monitored by Consumer Affairs, as confirmed by a representative to Daily Mail.
It appears my ideas for the renovation contest, known as Heartland, have stirred up some disagreement among the other participating houses.
My suggestions seem to have ruffled some feathers within this year’s Heartland renovation competition among fellow participants.
One enraged co-star expressed to Daily Mail that they didn’t think they deserved it, suggesting that the show’s producers had secretly orchestrated Emma and Ben’s romantic victory well ahead of the final auction.
Based on several sources, it appears that the Melbourne couple are perceived as fitting the desired profile by Channel Nine for their new, family-oriented brand revamp – they represent the likable individuals who rise above the chaos-creators.

As a devoted supporter, I can’t help but feel a twinge of discontent amidst the excitement. While other teams have poured their hearts out and fought tooth and nail for this show, it seems that House One has been riding on an easy wave. Now, it appears they are reaping the rewards, which leaves me somewhat unsettled.
The couples from South Australia (Robbie and Matt), Western Australia (Han and Can), and Queensland (Sonny and Alicia) are reportedly not very pleased.
It’s been noted that three teams provided the greatest amount of excitement this season, captivating their audience, yet they may find themselves overlooked during the upcoming auction.
‘They’ve given drama, humour and heart,’ one source said.
While Em and Ben initially seemed promising on paper, sadly, things didn’t live up to expectations during our 12-week filming period. The results unfortunately reflect this lack of action.
Even die-hard fans seem to agree, with online chatter rarely being kind to House One.
One viewer commented that when Em and Ben appear on screen, it’s as if a break for a bathroom break is needed, and many others agreed with this opinion shared across various social media discussions.
Despite some ongoing rumors, it seems that the amiable members of House One might be the ones to experience a happy conclusion, potentially causing frustration among their more vibrant colleagues.

As I near my goal, both on-screen and behind the scenes, the atmosphere is becoming increasingly charged, according to an inside source. [Daily Mail reported this.]
‘If the whispers come true, this could go down as the show’s most controversial win yet.’
Meanwhile, one season 18 Blockhead has said all the speculation can be boiled down to jealousy.
‘Every season the WhatsApp group slowly dies,’ they said.
As a committed participant, I’ve noticed that those who seem to contribute less and less to our group discussions might be grappling with feelings of jealousy creeping in.
Daily Mail has reached out to Nine for comment.
