Lorraine Kelly’s new Channel 4 venture has been revealed after ITV halved her daytime show hours.
The presenter, 65, is reportedly set to front a big-budget travel series taking her across Norway.
The Mirror reports that she will change her studio setting for the open ocean in an upcoming Channel 4 travel series, delving into the territory of the Vikings instead.
Entitled “Lorraine Kelly’s Norwegian Journey,” this program will take Lorraine on a tour through some of Norway’s most stunning landscapes, including snowy peaks, expansive glaciers, and the famous fjords.
The trip will also take in Norway’s most famous natural spectacle – the Northern Lights.
Daily Mail has contacted Channel 4 for comment.

Following the announcement that her daytime TV show will only air for 30 weeks a year, and during its off-season, it will be replaced by an extended version of Good Morning Britain, airing from 6 am to 10 am instead.
Contrary to expectations, with Lorraine’s popular daytime program facing steep reductions, its ratings have unexpectedly skyrocketed instead.
During the holiday season, Christine Lampard, aged 46, is currently hosting a show on ITV that’s about to significantly reduce its airtime. Remarkably, this program has surpassed This Morning in viewership.
The highest number of viewers last week for Lorraine’s morning show was 700,000, compared to the 675,000 viewers who tuned in to This Morning, presented by Rochelle Humes and Dermot O’Leary.
While Lorraine is away on vacation, Christine temporarily fills in for her on the show ‘This Morning,’ resulting in Christine’s segment becoming the focus of the program. In other words, Christine takes over as host while Lorraine is absent, and her part of the show becomes the main attraction. This could leave viewers wondering what Lorraine will think when she returns from her holiday.
As an ardent admirer, I can hardly contain my excitement as the powers-that-be have dropped a bombshell! Next year, it seems our beloved morning staples – GMB, Lorraine, and This Morning – are getting a fresh start, moving from their current studios due to a significant makeover in their lineup of shows.
Lorraine and the show “Loose Women” are set to experience significant changes as the Good Morning Britain program is combined with ITN, which is responsible for creating ITV News.
Starting from January 2026, Good Morning Britain (GMB) will expand by thirty minutes each day to cover a longer time slot, airing from 6:00 am to 9:30 am every morning.

Lorraine, a show that’s typically on for nearly the whole year, will now be shown for just 30 weeks out of a possible 52 weeks.
The popular show, Loose Women, will continue to air at its current time-slot from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm each day. However, it’s important to note that the show will now only run for 30 weeks throughout the entire year.
30 pm every weekday throughout the entire year.
Susanna Reid, aged 54, who began hosting Good Morning Britain when it debuted in 2014, will continue to serve as one of the program’s key hosts.
According to reports, Richard Madeley (age 69), Ed Balls (age 58), and Ms. Reid are expected to continue co-hosting together. Additionally, Charlotte Hawkins (age 50) and Ranvir Singh (age 47) will also remain part of the hosting team.
However, it’s understood there will be limited shows for Adil Ray, 51.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share some insights about the current state of ITV’s daytime workforce. It appears that this esteemed broadcaster currently employs approximately 450 dedicated individuals during the day. Regrettably, recent reports hint at potential job losses, with up to 220 positions potentially being affected.
