Married At First Sight star Liam Cooper gets engaged to boyfriend Samuel Levi – two years after announcing their split

On Wednesday, the star of “Married At First Sight“, Liam Cooper, put forth a touching marriage proposal to his partner, Samuel Levi.

In a tranquil spa located in Hepburn Springs, within the picturesque Daylesford and Macedon Ranges area of Victoria, the previous reality TV personality, aged 33, chose to propose by getting down on one knee.

Although they had reportedly separated by 2023, Liam decided to propose to his girlfriend, who was 32 years old at the time, using a modest sterling silver ring. He shared this exciting news via an Instagram post on Saturday.

On August 25, a date that will always be memorable, Liam posted: ‘I asked the love of my life, my dearest friend and partner for eternity, Samuel Levi, to marry me.’

I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to @hepburnbathhousespa for their assistance in setting this up, and for adding an extra touch of magic to the surprise.

Some fans might find it surprising to hear about the upcoming wedding, considering that Liam and Samuel, formerly of MAFS New Zealand, parted ways back in April 2023, after being together for 18 months.

‘As much as it has been for ourselves, and a sad day [sic],’ Liam penned at the time.

As an ardent admirer, I’m compelled to share some personal news. Samuel and I find ourselves at a crossroads, and for the time being, we’ve decided to pause our romantic journey. We won’t be progressing as a couple, but this doesn’t mean we’re severing ties completely – just hitting the pause button for now.

In spite of their separation, the pair maintained their commitment to their friendship and chose to reside under the same roof.
