Is this Margot Robbie’s most bizarre look yet? Wuthering Heights star opts for risque take on medieval corset at promo event

Margot Robbie turned heads with a particularly unusual outfit while promoting her new film, ‘Wuthering Heights,’ alongside her co-star, Jacob Elordi, on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old actress wore a daring, medieval-style corset at a photo event in Los Angeles, promoting the new movie based on Emily Bronte’s famous novel.

For the event, Robbie wore a unique outfit featuring a beaded and sculpted bra, a leather corset with a snakeskin pattern, and a very short skirt.

She was seen wearing a signet ring that she and Elordi, 28, both have, as well as a large ruby on the ring finger of her wedding hand.

She wore a daring outfit that looked like lingerie, completing the look with matching red high heels and a choker necklace.

Robbie Williams’ recent trip to Los Angeles followed a show of support for Victoria Beckham. She wore Beckham’s clothing designs while promoting her new project, ‘Wuthering Heights,’ seemingly taking sides amidst a family disagreement involving Beckham.

Robbie had her blonde hair styled in a soft and romantic updo, with loose curls around her face.

Her makeup perfectly complemented her all-red outfit, featuring a radiant blush and shiny lip gloss.

Robbie, starring as Catherine in the new movie, attended Wednesday’s photo event along with the rest of the cast and crew, including Elordia, who plays Heathcliff.

I was so excited to see all the stars posing with Charli XCX! She’s creating an original album inspired by Wuthering Heights, and it’s coming out next month, perfectly timed with the movie’s release – she’s even done the soundtrack! It’s going to be amazing.

Also in attendance were Robbie and Elordi’s castmates Hong Chau and Alison Oliver.

Elordi towered over the Barbie star in a well-tailored beige jacket, a black top and white slacks.

To complete his outfit, the Oscar nominee slipped on leather loafers and a shiny watch. 

During photos with Robbie, Elordi kept his hands in his pockets, making it impossible to tell if he was also wearing the matching rings Robbie gave him.

Charli XCX looked glamorous with Elordi and Robbie, wearing a beautiful, slightly see-through outfit and bright red heels.

The award-winning musician wore a pretty blouse with see-through, lace bell sleeves and delicate flower designs stitched onto it.

The midi-length skirt of her dress was made of a see-through, figure-hugging crochet material. 

Just days after excitedly talking about kissing her attractive, younger co-star on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the stars recently promoted their project in Los Angeles.

The conversation turned to kissing after Kimmel pointed out the film contains a significant amount of sexual content. This is director Emerald Fennell’s interpretation of Emily Brontë’s famous novel, her only one.

Kimmel asked if the book contained a lot of sexual content. Robbie responded that her character, Catherine Earnshaw, and Elordi’s character, Heathcliff, didn’t even share a kiss in the novel.

‘Wow, you guys do,’ Kimmel cheekily replied. ‘Yeah, we kiss a lot,’ Robbie concurred while smiling. 

Kimmel mentioned they kissed all over the house, and the woman confirmed, saying they kissed ‘a lot’ in many places.

The actress, who is married to film producer Tom Ackerley and welcomed their son in October 2024, explained that releasing the movie on Valentine’s Day was a deliberate decision.

The Oscar nominee shared that she recently watched the film with a number of her female friends.

Spending a night out with my girlfriends, maybe having a few drinks, would be really fun.

Wuthering Heights premieres in theaters on February 13.
