According to our source, there’s undeniably a strong connection between them, and they’re really enjoying their time collaborating on the promotion of the film.

Austin’s relationship with this person isn’t yet a full-blown romance, but it’s also not just a platonic friendship, often referred to as being ‘friend-zoned’. Collaborating on the film with director Darren Aronofsky was an intense experience because he is renowned for demanding a lot from his actors.

They’ve enjoyed experiencing it and having unpressured time with each other, which turned out to be a rewarding experience for them both.

In this film directed by Darren Aronofsky, they team up with the esteemed Liev Schreiber, Matt Smith known from Doctor Who, Vincent D’Onofrio, Regina King, and Bad Bunny for a comedic crime story.

According to Deadline, the movie centers around Hank Thompson (Butler), a once successful but now disillusioned baseball player, who unexpectedly finds himself embroiled in a chaotic struggle for survival amidst the criminal underbelly of 1990s New York City.

In his most recent noteworthy part, Butler can be seen in “Caught Stealing”. This comes after he made a significant impact in “Dune: Part Two”, the top-grossing movie of 2024 so far.

The follow-up to Dune, featuring stars like Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and Florence Pugh, has amassed an impressive $700 million globally since its theater release in March.

Last year, an American actor received his initial Golden Globe award and a nomination for an Oscar as Best Actor, due to his compelling performance as the legendary musician Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s critically-acclaimed 2022 musical biopic.

Elvis propelled him into the ranks of top-tier celebrities, more than twenty years following his rise to prominence in the early 2000s, when he became famous as a child actor on Nickelodeon.

Speaking of Kravitz, Lenny Kravitz’s daughter made her directorial debut with the film titled “Blink Twice” towards the end of August. After spending numerous years acting on-camera, she stepped behind it to bring this project to life.

Among her acting roles are starring in the HBO mini-series “Big Little Lies,” the recently canceled series on Hulu titled “High Fidelity,” and the 2022 film “The Batman” alongside Robert Pattinson and Colin Farrell.

In January, it became public that Butler, who had been in a three-year relationship with Kaia Gerber, the famous model and daughter of Cindy Crawford, at the age of 23, had ended their romantic involvement.

They were first linked back in December of 2021. 

Before dating Gerber, Butler had been in a long-term relationship with Vanessa Hudgens from 2011 to 2020. In the year 2020, he was also reportedly dating his Elvis co-star Olivia DeJonge for several months. Later in August of 2021, he was seen sharing a kiss with Lily-Rose Depp.

Kravitz and Tatum, 45, ended their engagement in October 2024. 

The couple had begun dating after the actor starred in Blink Twice.

Three years ago, Kravitz and her ex-husband, actor Karl Glusman, were going through a divorce. Similarly, Tatum’s divorce from Jenna Dewan, his co-parent of one child, had just been finalized around the same time they began their relationship.
