This week in Los Angeles, Dolph Lundgren was spotted with his notably younger spouse, Emma Krokdal, following his announcement of being cancer-free approximately nine months ago.
In simpler terms, the well-known figure from Rocky IV, aged 67, who married a 29-year-old woman named Krokdal in 2023, was fashionably dressed in a blue shirt and white trousers while out in Beverly Hills.
In 2019, the actress who he developed a relationship with was dressed in a blue top and very short shorts, matching him.
For approximately twenty years, from 1994 up until 2011, the actor known for his role in The Expendables was married to interior designer Anette Qviberg (age 59).
The former couple share daughters Ida, 29, and Greta, 23.
Lundgren was first diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2015.

In June 2020, he revealed his engagement to Krokdal, and subsequently got married at their villa situated in Mykonos, Greece, as reported by People magazine.
In January 2024, he excitedly spoke to the media outlet about being married to Krokdal, who he described as an exceptional partner, supporting him not only in his personal life but also in his professional endeavors.
He expressed that choosing to marry her was a wise decision, and furthermore, he genuinely enjoys the experience. Continuing on, he mentioned Emma as an exceptional source of support, remarking that she is quite intelligent.
Towards the end of last year, Lundgren joyfully reported that his nine-year struggle against cancer had ended, as he was now in remission.
In May 2023, he initially disclosed that he’d been fighting cancer for eight long years. He contemplated if his prior use of steroids for weightlifting could have played a role in the disease.
In a chat on In Depth with Graham Bensinger, he shared his health journey: In 2015, he received a diagnosis of kidney cancer, and then entered remission. Regrettably, the cancer recurred in 2020.
The patient was initially informed by a doctor that he had approximately 2 to 3 years left due to his cancer diagnosis. However, upon the advice of another physician, he underwent treatment and was fortunate enough to achieve remission and become cancer-free.
2024 saw Swedish actor, lying in his hospital bed in November, sharing an explanation about his current health situation. He was undergoing a lung ablation, a non-surgical treatment involving targeted destruction of cancer cells through application of either heat or cold energy, without surgical intervention.

‘He stated that he was at UCLA, preparing to undergo a procedure to remove the final tumor. With no more cancer cells in his body after this, he will effectively be cancer-free, which he is eagerly anticipating.’
He went on to say that the journey has been challenging but enlightening, teaching him the importance of embracing each moment and finding joy in life’s everyday experiences. In essence, he believes this is the key to living life effectively.
In the title of his post, Lundgren expressed, ‘At last, free from cancer with gratitude and anticipation for a luminous future. Always appreciative for your support.’
