On Thursday, Gwen Stefani cheerfully congratulated her son Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale on turning seventeen, by posting pictures showcasing how much he resembles her husband Blake Shelton these days.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but cheer for this emerging country musician who dons western attire with panache. Interestingly enough, he sports a mullet reminiscent of the one his 49-year-old stepfather flaunted in the early 2000s.
During his time in middle school during the 1980s, Blake sported a distinctive hairstyle that resembled the popular “business in the front, party in the back” style often associated with hockey players.
A 55-year-old mother happily posted videos on social media, showing her son, Zuma, performing an acoustic cover of Zach Bryan’s 2024 hit “Dawns” at their residence, while he played the guitar.
On Instagram, Gwen, with over 37.5 million followers, posted a tribute saying, “Happy Birthday to our adorable and gifted Zuma! We absolutely adore you!
Stefani shared a video where Shelton proudly introduced his stepson on stage during a performance at his bar, Ole Red, located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma (Stefani also posted a video showing Shelton introducing his stepson proudly on stage at his bar, Ole Red, in Tishomingo, OK).

In July 2024, Zuma took the stage for his first performance at the same location. There, he delivered another rendition of Zach Bryan’s song – his 2022 hit titled “Oklahoma Smokeshow.
Last year, the eight-time Grammy nominee shared with ET her excitement about being able to instruct them on their homeland, and she admitted to genuinely enjoying this task.
It seems many people suggest that once they become parents, their focus shifts away from themselves. I wholeheartedly agree – when parenthood is done correctly, it indeed becomes less about the individual.
Blake, having learned guitar from his uncle at the tender age of 12, went on to say: ‘Since Apollo is still with us for another nearly 10 years, it promises to be quite entertaining getting rid of him.’
In simple, conversational terms, the statement could be rephrased as follows: Gwen’s heartfelt tribute received many compliments from Instagram users, including @lillitu, who commented, “What a sweet sight! Gwen’s child seems to have adopted Blake’s singing style, it’s adorable. It’s wonderful to see that Blake has had such a positive influence on her children.
‘He’s got the old school Blake mullet started,’ Instagram user back_to_black_75 commented.
Instagram user @brittanygilbert37 agreed: ‘I see that Blake influence.’
‘Oklahoma looks good on him!’ exclaimed Instagram user @mrs.b.ah.vah.
Oh, what a delight! It seems Blake’s musical influence is clearly evident in this youngster, who undeniably possesses great talent.
In September last year, Zuma underwent a noticeable change when his well-known father, Gavin Rossdale of the band Bush, styled him with garments from his fashion line Sea of Sound – a goth-grunge clothing brand – for a live show appearance.

During their 13-year long marriage that concluded in August 2015 due to rumors of infidelity with a nanny, Stefani was also joined by her two sons, Kingston (aged 19 at the time) and Apollo (11 years old).
shorter version: During their 13-year marriage that ended in August 2015 due to infidelity allegations, Stefani had her sons Kingston (19) and Apollo (11) with her.
Approximately two months after finalizing his divorce from his second wife, Miranda Lambert, the award-winning singer started dating Shelton while working together on the TV show, The Voice.
Prior to marrying Lambert, the artist behind “Country Grammar” and “Die a Happy Man” was wed to Kaynette Gern for more than two years. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2006.
July 3 marked Gwen and Blake’s fourth wedding anniversary.
On a Thursday, it was announced that Shelton will begin his eight-show Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum on January 15th.
Initially, let’s talk about a towering figure standing at 6 feet 5 inches, boasting 10.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This popular artist is all set to take the stage on August 28 for Jacks Bash 3 in Brookings, SD.
At this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, taking place on September 7th, broadcasted on CBS/Paramount+, Blake and his duet partner Post Malone are nominated for the ‘Best Collaboration’ category.

The pair face heavy competition against Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs, Kendrick Lamar and SZA,
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, Rosé and Bruno Mars, as well as Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco.
Executives Shelton and Taylor Sheridan are overseeing the creation of a fresh singing contest for country artists, titled “The Road.” Set to debut on CBS/Paramount+ on October 19th, this competition will have Keith Urban in the role of mentor and judge.
At present, Stefani is taking a break from her musical endeavors to focus on her fashion line, L.A.M.B., that she started in 2003, and devote her time to its promotion.
