Katie added: “I’ve identified my problems and made efforts to move past them. At times, I fell short, but at other times, I triumphed.
I managed to break free from a dangerous downward spiral, as my deep love for my kids compelled me to stay strong and be present in their lives.
I’m far from flawless, but I strive to be as good as I possibly can. There are those who truly embody goodness, and some of them have lent a helping hand in my journey.
However, it’s important to note that not all saints may appear as they seem. They often cultivate an image for public consumption, which might require significant effort and energy to uphold.
Certain individuals who claim to be saints may not be genuine. To thrive, they often require an antagonist, either portraying themselves as victims or labeling others as sinners. This role as a saint is something they cannot attain without the existence of a sinner.
As a Fallible Being – Sometimes I find myself growing weary of the Holy Ones. Yet, perhaps I ought to empathize with their struggle, as maintaining an unwavering facade undoubtedly requires immense effort.
Regardless, everyone – the less virtuous among you, continue striving for improvement, and the more righteous ones, understand that perfection isn’t necessary.”
