In the final episode of the intense third season of “Gangs of London,” broadcasted in March, viewers are now pondering numerous unanswered questions due to the demise of characters such as Sean Wallace (Joe Cole), Ed Dumani (Lucian Msamati), and Billy Wallace (Brian Vernel).

In the early part of this year, we had a conversation with actor Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù (also known as Elliot Carter) regarding the potential for a fourth installment.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but sense a touch of ambiguity hanging over season three’s conclusion. And it seems that even the outstanding performances between Billy and Elliott reflected this uncertainty. Frankly, neither I nor Brian Vernel have a clear idea about where this journey is headed next.

The writers might not be certain about the direction, leaving the atmosphere filled with anticipation, suspense, and a hint of the past events of the shoot. In my opinion, it’s an unprocessed, raw feeling at this point.

Lately, producer Hugh Warren expressed his opinions about season four, suggesting that viewers might encounter some unanticipated elements.

In an interview with Variety in June, Warren remarked, “The news of Sean and Ed’s deaths came as a shock; no one had anticipated it. However, over the course of three seasons, people have learned to anticipate the unanticipated.

There’s a strong urge to retain the popular characters since they are fantastic, yet it’s equally enticing to continually refresh and renew the series, making sure that every new season brings something new and vibrant.

Warren mentioned that the creative crew has some exciting ideas planned for upcoming episodes. He emphasized that, since they’ve killed off the main characters, it’s impossible to foresee what might transpire next.

Season four of Gangs of London has yet no release date.
