Demi Lovato attempts THAT Cynthia Erivo note from Wicked… and fans are all saying the same thing

Demi Lovato made a valiant effort to hit Cynthia Erivo‘s famous high note from the musical Wicked, leaving her audience astounded.

On a lively Wednesday evening of August 20th, I found myself belting out tunes alongside my cherished husband Jutes, my dearest old friend Matthew Scott Montgomery, and a host of close friends, as we celebrated another year in my life – my 33rd – at a buzzing karaoke spot. It was an unforgettable night filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the joy that only music can bring.

That very day, Lovato posted a collection of pictures on Instagram showing her blowing out candles on a pink confetti-filled cake and celebrating her birthday with dear ones.

On my extraordinary day, my cherished husband, Jordan Lutes, aged 34, stood by my side and penned a heartfelt tribute to celebrate my birthday.

Accompanying a set of photos showing them together, including at their Santa Barbara wedding in May, he expressed his feelings about his wife on her birthday: “Happy birthday to the one who means the world to me! Celebrating you each and every day for as long as I live. My little partner in crime, my love for you goes beyond what words can express.

A friend of Lovato, Montgomery, posted a video on social media that showcased her powerful singing voice on her birthday, which included hitting high notes similar to those in Cynthia Erivo’s rendition of “Defying Gravity” from the musical Wicked.

A significant number of the ex-Disney star’s fans expressed similar opinions about her performance of the Cool for the Summer cover on X.

Montgomery titled the brief video: “A spiritual moment. Wishing a happy birthday to the goat, @ddlovato.

A considerable number of Demi Lovato’s fans playfully criticized her friend, humorously asking him to share the complete version of her cover song.

One fan wrote on X: ‘ok so where’s the full version king? THIS IS NOT FAIR.’

Many other social media users shared similar thoughts, and someone else chimed in with: “We’d love to listen to her complete performances.

As a devoted fan, I too joined in singing “Here We Go Again,” which is one of Lovato’s self-composed tunes, during her karaoke birthday bash. The words to the song were displayed on the screen, as she shared in her social media post.

In addition, she performed renditions of “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson, “I Want to Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston, and “Keep On Singing My Song” by Christina Aguilera.

‘Do us all a favor and post the full video puleeaaaasee,’ one fan commented.

‘It seems you possess the entire video,’ the other person said to Montgomery. ‘Why not bring joy to us? After all, you hold such influence over our feelings.’

‘Give us a longer version please,’ one fan pleaded with Lovato’s best friend for the full video.

Another person wrote to Montgomery and said: ‘You’re telling us you didn’t record the whole song.’

One fan said they ‘need’ the entire version too before adding that ‘this is amazing.’

Please stop the entire act, if you could,” another social media user requested. On the other hand, a fan commented, “We’d love to see more of this.

Fans claimed that she had never been better, asserting this when she reunited with her former boyfriend Joe Jonas during a Jonas Brothers performance, singing Camp Rock tunes together again after many years.
