At gamescom 2025, Genshin Impact unveiled its initial in-game glimpse at the upcoming character, Flins, and my excitement has reached an all-time high! As a dedicated fan who’s eagerly awaited each expansion, witnessing this revelation is like walking into a fresh, exciting installment of Teyvat.
Apart from releasing a trailer, HoYoverse truly outdid themselves by setting up an extensive booth based on the upcoming region, Nod-Krai. Whether you’re in Cologne or watching from afar, there’s an abundance of captivating sights to behold, and I can hardly contain my excitement for the day we can finally dive into it!
Introducing Flins, the Lightkeeper warrior
Let’s discuss the character named Flins, who is center stage in this unveiling. In the preview, he is depicted as a Lightkeeper warrior, standing firm against the ominous danger of the Wild Hunt. I have a feeling that he will be one of those characters that significantly alter my gaming experience, and I’m thrilled to explore more about his background.
Genshin Impact’s new chapter begins with Nod-Krai
This year’s focus in Genshin Impact’s storyline shines brightly on the upcoming region, Nod-Krai. Given HoYoverse’s track record, Nod-Krai is not only expected to be visually stunning but also filled with hidden stories, immersive environmental narratives, and fresh challenges. The excitement of the first interactive booth experience centered around Nod-Krai further fuels my anticipation for delving into it once the expansion is officially released.
The Gamescom Booth Experience
If you’re attending Gamescom this year, get ready for an exciting time! The popular game Genshin Impact will have a booth set up at Gamescom 2025. You can find it in Hall 6, Booth C031. It’s like stepping into the Nod-Krai preview in real life! There’s an interactive challenge where you can assist Flins in battling the Wild Hunt. Additionally, there will be live shows, cosplay events, and special merchandise available. Unfortunately, I’m not among those lucky enough to sample the HoYoverse Café menu or grab some limited-edition items.

Apart from everything else, players can visit Samsung’s booth in Hall 9 to experience the newest content offerings. These are accessible on mobile devices, personal computers, and PlayStation 5. I’m really impressed by HoYoverse’s approach of catering to various gaming preferences, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their preferred platform, can enjoy Genshin.
Without a doubt, this latest unveiling has sparked my excitement for Genshin Impact once more! Witnessing Flins for the first time, receiving hints of Nod-Krai, and observing how HoYoverse transformed Gamescon 2025 into an all-out Genshin celebration is proof of their dedication to keeping players like us engaged.
