How to get cinema tickets in the UK for under £5 this Bank Holiday weekend

Over the next few days, we’re headed straight towards the August holiday weekend, and Showcase Cinemas is making the most of it by offering an attractive three-day discount!

The movie theater chain is currently providing a deal, where moviegoers can watch movies from Saturday, the 23rd, through Monday, the 25th, all for less than £5.

To enjoy this offer, it’s necessary for you to enroll in our Insider Loyalty Program. Luckily, joining is free! However, you should note that you must be at least 15 years old to become a member.

After signing up, you’ll have an opportunity to purchase tickets at £4.99 each, and you’ll automatically be enrolled in a raffle where the grand prize is £100 in Insider rewards. Each movie you watch during the three-day period will give you an additional entry into this draw.

As a gamer, here’s how I might put it: “Now, for those planning to catch a movie, take note. The cinemas in Reading and Southampton are priced differently at £5.99 each, while the one in Bluewater sets you back by £6.99. Unfortunately, the cinema in Derby isn’t joining in on this deal.

If you choose not to join our Insider program, general ticket prices are £7.99 per person across most locations. However, please note that the prices at Reading, Southampton, and Bluewater may vary slightly according to their specific pricing adjustments.

During the regular work week, excluding bank holidays, Showcase typically offers these prices on Mondays. I recommend checking with your nearest cinema to see if the Monday prices differ in your location.
