Things are getting serious! Jelena Dokic shares a look inside her romantic holiday in Bali with new man Yane

Jelena Dokic and her boyfriend Yane Veselinov are on their first romantic holiday as a couple. 

The couple, who recently made their relationship Instagram-official, are currently enjoying a getaway in beautiful Bali together.

On Monday, the previous Australian tennis champion was seen at the airport beginning her journey, and on Tuesday, she gave her followers a sneak peek of her vacation.

As a devoted admirer, I was thrilled to find myself, at 42, grinning ear to ear in an Instagram post, flanking Yane during our exciting encounter with some adorable monkeys we encountered on our visit.

‘Two monkeys,’ Yane captioned the holiday snap, which Jelena re-shared to her own social media. 

She also posted several more images from the trip. 

In a single visual, the sportscaster indulged in a lavish meal, adorning an elegant emerald dress that accentuated her recent weight loss transformation.

As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but marvel at more snaps revealing Jelena immersed in nature’s beauty, with Yane skillfully framing her radiant joy from behind the lens.

The couple went Instagram official, posing together in a loved-up selfie last month.

Jelena expressed her affection for her partner, saying in the caption: “You are my serene, secure, tranquil, and joyful haven. Overjoyed that I’ve found you.

Yane, who serves as a hospitality operations manager, isn’t very well-known, yet his Instagram bio suggests he has a keen interest in food and wine, enjoys indulging in pleasurable experiences, and appreciates the joys of life.

It comes after the pair sparked marriage rumours last month.  

Jelena stirred whispers of excitement when she stepped into a bridal shop in Melbourne, suggesting there might be some unique news on the horizon.

Exciting news about something extraordinary is approaching shortly, as she shared on her post, accompanied by pictures of elegant wedding dresses from Alin Le’ Kal bridal boutique.

‘Something special in the works with Alin Le’ Kal,’ she captioned the second image.

Lastly, Jelena uploaded a video as she panned the camera to show the entire bridal store.

A mere few weeks prior, she was seen affectionately with a man who later turned out to be Yane, in Melbourne Airport.

Towards the end of last year, Jelena admitted that she had become hesitant about seeking new romantic relationships following her breakup with her long-term Brazilian partner, Tin Bikic.

For nearly two decades, I’ve shared a beautiful journey with my partner. However, in 2021, we mutually decided to part ways and embark on separate paths.

Although she has kept her distance for quite some time, Jelena confessed on Instagram that she fears spending the remainder of her life all by herself, expressing a profound sense of loneliness.

She mentioned, “It’s been a hard time on a personal level. Often, we overlook it, but going through a breakup in a relationship can be incredibly difficult.” Accompanied by a self-portrait.

If you find yourself the one who is wounded or deserted, let’s face it honestly – it can feel utterly devastating, and as time passes and we age, it seems to grow even harder, piling on more wounds, sorrow, and emotional turmoil.

Four years ago, my 19-year-long relationship came to an end. Though our deep bond formed when we started dating at age 20 ensures that we will always cherish each other, that phase of our lives together has concluded.

Instead, Jelena expressed that she is genetically predisposed to love someone deeply and without condition, a feeling so intense that it frequently leads her into difficulties.

The Australian tennis commentator shared that she’s struggled with deep-rooted feelings of loneliness and fear of being left, stemming from past experiences. This makes her feel as if she will always be alone in the future.

Previously acclaimed tennis player has been soaring with success after claiming her inaugural Logie award in the Best Factual or Documentary Program class, for her special documentary Unbreakable: The Jelena Dokic Story, on Sunday evening.

Jelena openly acknowledged that she was utterly stunned by the victory. She disclosed that she didn’t have a prepared speech ready and intended to improvise, or ‘wing it’, if her name was announced as the winner.
