Stacey Solomon defends her £1000 a night holiday in Turkey after she’s branded ‘smug’ and accused of blagging ‘freebie’ trip – as she shares stunning new family snaps

As a die-hard admirer, I must share that I’ve been feeling quite elated, following Stacey Solomon‘s recent trip to Turkey. However, it seems some fellow fans have expressed concerns about her being perceived as ‘smug’ or accepting a ‘freebie’ holiday. To clarify, let me say that I believe Stacey has always been transparent and sincere in her sharing, and this vacation is no exception. It’s an opportunity to unwind, enjoy, and create beautiful moments – just like any other traveler would! After all, who wouldn’t want a slice of paradise in Turkey? 😊

The popular Loose Women cast member, aged 35, along with her husband Joe Swash, 43, and their family, have recently returned from a luxurious vacation at the five-star Regnum The Crown in Antalya. Notably, a night’s stay at this resort typically costs around £1,000 per person.

While taking a lavish vacation, Stacey regularly shared delightful photos with her followers, and her latest post showcases an album of beautiful family pictures that include her five kids – Zachary, 17, Leighton, 12, Rex, 5, Rose, 3, and Belle, 2.

Yet, Stacey’s nostalgic recollections of her vacation seem to have been dampened by criticism from some of her audience. They’ve accused her of going on an extravagant holiday, with a few speculating that the trip wasn’t self-funded but rather gifted to her instead.

Later on her Instagram stories, Stacey explained her expensive vacation, saying, “I’ve been here three times before. This trip wasn’t a complimentary one. I simply adore this spot so deeply that I believe it deserves the most outstanding reviews and mentions possible because it’s just extraordinarily amazing.

In an upcoming post, she will continue to explain the cost, adding: “We consistently return to Regnum The Crown, making this our third visit – a testament to its appeal. I am not usually one to revisit the same destination annually, but it suits every member of our family at their respective ages.

There’s simply no match for it, as it comes with a high price tag. Still, considering its offerings, I truly believe it’s an excellent value and even more so. If only I had known about this place earlier, our honeymoon and special vacations would have undoubtedly been here because, quite frankly, it’s extraordinary.

Despite most responses to her trip being favorable, a few critics emerged who appeared to find issue with her high-end vacation.

After Stacey revealed that she had formed a delightful friendship with Molly-Mae Hague, following their encounter at a dinner during their separate vacations in Turkey.

This month, both the host of “Sort Your Life Out” and the 26-year-old star from “Love Island” were vacationing independently with their respective families at the luxurious Regnum The Crown resort in Belek.

On Sunday, Stacey shared on Instagram about her growing friendship with the celebrity, expressing her enthusiasm, and extending a warm invite to Molly-Mae, her partner Tommy Fury (age 26), and their daughter Bambi (age 2) to come visit her at Pickle Cottage.

Stacey happily posted a photo of herself along with Molly-Mae, embracing each other, and wrote: ‘I spent the early part of my vacation with @MollyMae, @TommyFury, and their pet Bambi. We happened to meet them at dinner one evening and instantly connected.’

Indeed, they are an incredibly warm-hearted and approachable family. Bambi, oh my, I just can’t find words for it! She is simply a sweet, compassionate little soul. Rose was truly disheartened upon her departure.

‘Can’t wait for them to come to pickle cottage.’ 

Additionally, Stacey shared a picture of her 12-year-old son Leighton alongside Tommy and a friend. She expressed that her sons were extremely excited about meeting the boxer, using the term “thrilled” instead of “buzzing”.

Molly-Mae hasn’t posted a personal tribute yet, but she did reshare Stacey’s post with love heart and teary eye emojis to show her affection.
