In response to the strong criticism she faced for modeling a highly revealing gown by the Spanish brand Loewe, fashion influencer Elle Ferguson has spoken out.
Following her recent post showing off the dress, numerous fans expressed their opinions that the designer outfit appeared ‘unattractive’, ‘awkward’, or ‘ugly’.
The individual turning 40 years old has spoken up about a popular fashion incident that went viral, expressing her viewpoint that the dress in question is simply stunning, or in another words, incredibly beautiful.
Elle shared with The Daily Telegraph that when she wore the dress, her mind was focused solely on the fact that she was privileged to view Jonathan Anderson’s final collection for Loewe.
She mentioned that she had eagerly anticipated the chance to wear the dress, and learning it was available in Sydney created a unique sense of excitement for her.
She expressed how much she adored that dress, mentioning that her feelings for it haven’t changed. She shared that whenever she wore it, she felt a sense of pride, and her fiancé, Joel Patful, also appreciated its style.

She subsequently emphasized to her followers that art is a matter of personal opinion and isn’t meant for criticizing others.
Art sparks dialogue, yet it’s important to note that such discussions should steer clear of disparaging remarks or criticizing a woman merely for her choice of attire, like wearing a dress.
Elle was slammed online after posting a video of the lilac-coloured designer dress on Instagram.
The fall 2025 collection from high-end fashion brand Loewe includes a dress boasting a deep V-neck and a waisted design with peplum layers.
‘I must say, the Lilac @loewe dress is even more stunning in person! It was a dream come true to see Jonathan Anderson’s last collection in real life and have the chance to wear pieces from it. A big thank you goes out to the amazing #loewe team and @mcm_pr for making this experience possible.’
Many of Elle’s supporters flooded the comment section criticizing her ‘unattractive’ appearance, stating that the dress didn’t suit her physique well.
‘Not every style flatters, and in this case, I’m referring to the dress, not you. In fact, I don’t think the dress would look good on anyone.’ This version maintains the original meaning while being more straightforward and easy to understand.
‘That dress is hideous!’ another agreed while a third added: ‘God, that’s an ugly dress.’

One person remarked, “It seems rather awkward to put on,” whereas another stated, “I truly dislike that dress, I’m afraid.
While some admired its bold appearance, one comment read: ‘She embodies the complete runway essence. This woman should walk the ramp.’
‘Actual Supermodel,’ another added.
Despite the divide in opinion over the dress, Elle found a silver lining behind the viral post.
The influencer shared with Sunday Confidential that her Instagram engagement had significantly increased over the past month, amassing a total of 8.2 million views within thirty days.
