Lily Collins is usually seen donning a tall, chunky pair of platform heels. However, while filming the fifth season of Emily in Paris in Venice, she seems to have swapped her high-heeled stilettos for something else.
The leading actress, aged 36, is traveling to Venice, Italy, as her role requires it, since the show will portray her character’s trip from Venice to Rome.
However, while being recorded as she strolled through Venice and dined with fellow actors at lunch, Lily was observed donning a set of earth-toned Birkenstock sandals.
Dressed in a vibrant red mini dress with flair, Lily once more demonstrated her continued status as a trend-setting fashion lover.
The stand-out ensemble showcased a full, rounded skirt resembling a puffball, adorned with delicate, see-through long sleeves that boasted a crisscross design intricately etched across them.
The actress wore matching tights which featured a bold lining on the inside of her legs.

Walking up the stairs under the protective cover of an umbrella, I, as a dedicated follower, carefully positioned it overhead to shield the actress from the intense sunlight while she savoringly indulged in her food.
In the culmination of series four, I found myself presented with an enticing opportunity – the chance to head the Italian branch of Agence Grateau.
Emily, who had grown fond of both Paris and her agency, confessed that she was drawn towards the prospect of a fresh life – with a new partner – in Rome.
Fans might recall that Emily and the character played by Lucas Bravo, Gabriel, ended up parting ways following an attempt to reconcile their relationship, which occurred after Gabriel had previously broken up with Camille.
After the exposure of a false pregnancy rumor, Camille admitted that she was not pregnant, and subsequently, Emily and Gabriel began discussing potential romantic plans for their future together.
Instead, fate didn’t allow the relationship between the two lovebirds to flourish, as they couldn’t resolve their conflicts. As a result, she found herself in the embrace of Marcello following their encounter on the snowy slopes of Megève, after being abandoned there by Gabriel.
Fate was against the star-crossed lovers, who were unable to reconcile their differences. This led her to find solace in Marcello’s arms, following their meeting on the snowy slopes of Megève, where she had been left stranded by Gabriel.
In Paris, they ran into each other during a polo game, and they spent an evening exploring the city, an adventure that continued well into the next day. At some point, he invited her for a trip to Rome to spend more time together.
Eagerly propelled by my undying admiration for Marcello, I embarked on a journey, guided by the compass of my heart. My employer, Sylvie, had entrusted me with an extraordinary mission: seeking out Marcello’s family business. Yet, the idea of intertwining business with the sweet allure of his presence made me uneasy.

Their partnership faced a challenge when he discovered she intended to form business ties with his family, who ran a high-end cashmere enterprise. However, they were able to smooth over their disagreements in the end.
At the given moment, Gabriel engaged in an open and honest dialogue with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). Alfie strongly advised Gabriel to make another attempt at winning Emily’s affection back, even though he had been romantically linked with her in the past.
Despite hastily traveling to Rome in hopes of finding Emily, he discovered instead that she was spending a delightful romantic day with Marcello, nowhere to be found.
In reference to the upcoming series, Lucas mentioned that Gabriel may have found it hard to let go of Emily, and possibly made a significant error in doing so.
They undoubtedly had a major argument followed by a time apart for reflection. However, it seems to me that by the end of the season, he came to understand that he didn’t want to lose Emily, as there appears to be something holding him back.
That term is unclear to me. Being together right away or in the future isn’t implied. Honestly, I believe he feels there are lingering matters between the two of them.
Nevertheless, there’s a glimmer of optimism for the couple since, according to creator Darren Star, the entire season may not be shifting to Rome after all.
He informed Deadline that Sylvie hasn’t altered her Instagram username to “Emily in Rome.” Instead, she works in Rome on occasion, and her company happens to have an office in the city.
Emily is making progress with the new situation. To clarify, it’s not that I foresee this as a long-term or permanent relocation for her; it certainly isn’t that in my view. Rest assured, we are not planning on departing from Paris.
The show is likely to premiere later in this year, however, it’s been disclosed that one of its principal actors won’t rejoin the cast.
Camille Razat, aged 31 and known for her role as Camille in the romantic comedy-drama, shared a heartfelt farewell message on Instagram due to fan outrage over changes made to her character by the show’s producers.
Since 2020, when the series began streaming, Camille has portrayed both friend and romantic competitor to Emily on the show.
Camille’s character has been Emily’s friend and love rival in the show since it premiered on the streaming service in 2020.
Now, after five years on our screens as Camille, the actress is ready to move on.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement as I embark on a new chapter! After an unforgettable ride living as Emily in Paris, I’ve chosen to take a step back and explore new adventures. Here’s to cherishing every moment spent in the City of Lights!
Experiencing such a remarkable journey, it’s been rich in personal development, imaginative endeavors, and moments I’ll cherish forever.
I am extremely thankful to @starmandarren and the whole team at both Netflix and Paramount Pictures, for placing their faith in me and offering the chance to embody Camille. It’s also wonderful that they have kept the door open for her return, as Camille will forever remain a cherished character within the Emily In Paris universe.
This character holds significant importance for me, and it seems fitting that her narrative has concluded. It feels right now to venture into fresh story arcs.
She mentioned that she has just completed work on two television series – ‘Nero’ for Netflix and ‘The Lost Station Girls’ for Disney+. Additionally, she’s thrilled to announce the establishment of her own production company, Tazar Production.
For the time being, our primary focus is on creating music videos and short films. However, we are presently working on our debut full-length feature film, a project that ignites my passion and fuels my excitement for its future growth.
I depart from this production with only heartfelt affection and appreciation for the actors, technicians, and audience members who have been part of our journey. Thank you for an amazing experience.
Her fans and co-stars rushed to the comments section to share their support.
Lily expressed, “I adore you like a sister. What a thrilling journey it’s been, truly enjoyable every step of the way. You shine just like a rockstar. I am so incredibly proud of you.
