Rapper T-Hood’s slaying may have been self-defense as police suspect girlfriend’s brother

The police in Gwinnett County, located northeast of Atlanta, are examining the death by shooting of 33-year-old rapper T-Hood at his home as a potential instance of self-defense.

Authorities have named Ky Lasheed Frost, a 24-year-old man, as the suspected gunman. Ky is the son of popular TV personalities Rasheeda and Kirk Frost from “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”. At the crime scene, Ky was taken into custody for questioning, but no charges have been officially brought against him yet.

At around 7 p.m. on August 8th, authorities intervened in a family argument and found the rapper, known as Tevin Hood, with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

It’s reported by TMZ that Hood was romantically involved with Kelsie Frost, Ky Frost’s sister. The site also released a security camera footage from their apartment earlier this year, which showed them having a physical fight. In the video, it seems like Hood is walking around the bedroom while Kelsie Frost is on the bed. The footage appears to depict Hood lunging towards her and appearing to choke her.

Last Friday, Ky Frost and a witness named Ariel Miranda Hutchinson, who is 25 years old, stayed at the site of the shooting and worked with law enforcement officials as they carried out their investigation, according to police reports.

I love you dearly, daddy. I can hardly wait to embrace you again.
