Today, there is much discussion among fans of “The Devil Wears Prada” regarding Emily Blunt’s appearance in the upcoming sequel.
Since the highly anticipated sequel to the 2006 fashion comedy began filming, we’ve seen so many set photos that it feels like we’ve already previewed the new movie.
Between Meryl Streep re-enacting Miranda Priestley and Anne Hathaway’s Andy Sachs strutting around New York City in a shimmering purple gown (and Colin from Accounts, played by Patrick Brammall, at her side), Emily Blunt’s Emily Charlton has recently shown up with a new hair color that has left spectators feeling chilly.
In the following story, Miranda’s formerly overwhelmed assistant has moved on to enjoy a prosperous life, free from relentlessly demanding superiors.
On the movie set, Hathaway’s company included Blunt, who was sporting a fresh icy blonde hairdo. This new look has stirred controversy among original fans of “The Devil Wears Prada”.
People on social media swiftly expressed their anger, so be prepared for some vivid expressions in the responses.
One fan, known as “emily blunt’s manager”, expressed their dismay on Twitter by saying, “This is incredibly awful.
“That is not Emily Charlton,” they continued, taking aim at the actor’s “horrendous” wig.
They exclaimed, “The black roots make it even more problematic,” they said. ” frankly, I no longer desire this project. This is just terrible! Why do things always have to be spoiled?
“Likeeee, she’s successful but can’t fix those roots?” someone else noted.
In her earlier on-set photos, Blunt sported her traditional copper hair color. It’s plausible that her character may undergo a stylistic transformation within the movie, given the significant change in her hairstyle. The motive behind this new look seems intriguing and it appears to be quite dramatic.
Some found the newly bleached hairstyle less appealing, while others couldn’t stop praising the transformation of the lesser-known character from “The Devil Wears Prada” during their recent rebranding.
Emily Blunt’s striking platinum blond hair style makes for an impressive appearance, with the sequel already exuding an iconic feel.
As a fellow enthusiast, I can’t help but gush over the latest set photos of Emily Blunt for “The Devil Wears Prada 2”! She appears to be channeling Malibu Barbie’s wicked counterpart. With her platinum locks and an aura that screams danger, I bet she even exudes a scent of money and deceit. Oh boy, we’re not going to make it through this glamorous phase unscathed!
The Devil Wears Prada 2 releases in cinemas on 1 May 2026.
