Rhian Sugden opens up about why she underwent breast reduction in clip from before surgery – after going from a 32HH to a 32E cup size

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share that I’ve always appreciated and respected Rhian Sugden’s openness. In a pre-surgery video, she candidly discussed the reasons behind her decision to undergo a breast reduction.

The glamour model, 38, went under the knife last month and went from a 32HH to a 32E cup size. 

On Friday, Rhian posted a video on Instagram that she had recorded prior to her breast reduction and lift surgery, explaining the reasons behind her decision to go through with the operation.

Upon examination, it was discovered that her nipples were actually 11 centimeters lower than normal due to the effects of gravity post-childbirth, as her son George turned one.

‘I’m Rhian Sugden and I’m booked in to have a breast reduction and uplift,’ she said in the clip. 

As a lifestyle expert with a background as a former Page 3 model, I’ve had my fair share of exposure, which has given me a keen appreciation for the aesthetics of the female form, particularly the breasts. Growing up, I’ve been blessed with what I consider a decent set of breasts, but motherhood, like gravity itself, has left its mark. Post-pregnancy, my nipples have dropped approximately 11cm below their ideal position, as Dr. Hussain has pointed out during our consultations.

I must admit, I feel quite anxious about this situation. I can hardly contain my excitement for when they are reduced, lifted, and firmer – it’s going to be thrilling!

She added: “Currently, my bra size is a 34GG, I can also wear a larger H, and finding a good quality bra these days proves quite challenging.

As a dedicated follower, I find myself in a peculiar predicament when it comes to bikinis. Due to my petite frame and generously endowed bust, locating a suitable one proves quite challenging. The strain on my back is a constant issue, causing me frequent discomfort. To alleviate this, I find myself needing a weekly massage to help soothe the persistent tension and pain in my back.

I frequently swim, and due to my large bust size, my back tends to arch upward as the water gets pushed away by them. This makes swimming particularly challenging for me right now, with added difficulties in fitting into a swimsuit. A breast reduction would significantly improve my life, making activities like swimming much easier.

In an Instagram update shared this month following her surgery, Rhian mentioned that her improved swimming abilities are a result of her newly streamlined physique.

In a bright yellow top, Rhian declared that she had “never felt more content” and was radiating confidence.

She wrote: ‘Just a little after-and-before of the newly reduced (and very much perked-up) girls 

Six weeks following my surgery, I’ve resumed my swimming routine and managed to cover a mile in nine minutes less than my previous time! It’s no coincidence; the improvement can only be attributed to the increased streamlining of my body during my strokes.

She expressed: ‘I’ve truly never been more content. For those who predicted I’d be unhappy, damaging my life, or ending my career… I’m extending some additional affection to you today. Wishing you all the best!’

Last week, the mother-of-one revealed how much of a difference the surgery had made. 

In an earlier video recorded before surgery, she chose not to wear a bra under a white T-shirt, thus revealing the contours of her chest.

The video subsequently showed her, after the surgery, wearing the same top. She discussed her noticeably smaller breasts, which resulted from the surgical procedure.

She titled her post: ‘Reduction and lift of breasts… Pre-transformation + Post-transformation. I couldn’t be more content! Check out the change!’ (informal)

Alongside the snap, she penned: ‘New Girls ❤️ I say new, they’re still the same ones just lifted.

For those curious about the type of surgery I underwent, it involved a breast lift and reduction procedure, without the use of any implants. It’s one of my most rewarding decisions I’ve made for myself.

Even though Rhian was happier than ever with her transformed physique, she admitted that she had been bombarded with criticisms from internet trolls concerning her choice.

In a now-vanished Instagram Story, she defended herself against her detractors by explaining that she was unbothered by scars and failed to comprehend why people were commenting on her choice.

In a playful remark, she pointed out that the remarks were from individuals who would never have physical contact with her chest area, making them irrelevant to her personally.
