Katie Price says she ‘will no longer be gaslit’ as she responds to ex-husband Peter Andre’s bombshell statement about her baseless lies’

Katie Price has openly discussed feelings of manipulation, following her former husband Peter Andre’s extensive public statement regarding her.

52-year-old vocalist publicly denounced the baseless accusations made by Katie, mere hours following her plea for him to join reconciliation discussions. The controversy between them has reportedly impacted their daughter Princess unfairly, who has been unwillingly entangled in their disagreement.

There has been an increasing amount of chatter suggesting a strain in the relationship between Katie and Princess, following Katie’s absence at Princess’ 18th birthday celebration and her non-appearance on the ITV reality show that focuses on Princess, often referred to as a nepotism baby.

Later on, Katie asserted that her daughter’s management advised her against participating in the show, due to being Princess, aged 18, and Junior, aged 20, shared between her and her ex-husband Peter.

As a loyal follower, on a Thursday, I found myself in a position where I felt compelled to address an issue that had been weighing heavily on me for 16 years – my silence regarding Katie. I felt it was necessary to clarify what I perceived as repeated instances of falsehoods she had perpetuated. I felt the urgency to ‘set the record straight’.

Katie’s team has responded to his remarks, as stated by their representative to Daily Mail: “Katie is currently in a more positive and decisive state of mind and finds herself at ease regarding the situation.

‘She’s moved on from that past incident and has no intention of retaliating. What’s crucial is that she’s handling it properly, and now her legal representatives are dealing with it. From hereon, Kate will not be subjected to manipulation or bullying as before.’

In Peter’s extensive Instagram post, he aired his perspective, saying: ‘For sixteen years, I chose not to respond to the false accusations from my ex-wife and her family, due to consideration for my kids and dear ones, but remaining silent has been very aggravating. Today, that changes.’

Due to recent discussions regarding my children’s wellbeing and housing situation, I feel it necessary to set the facts straight. In 2018, for valid reasons related to their safety, Junior and Princess were placed under my care. They stayed with me until they became adults.

Back in 2019, a court ordered that this agreement be upheld legally. Up until now, I’ve kept this private to protect my kids.

In 2011 and 2015, it was proven in public court records that his ex-wife made untrue statements about him. She was mandated to pay significant damages, legal fees, and offer an apology to him and his management. Regrettably, these same untruths are being circulated once more today.

I regret to say that there are numerous untruths and groundless claims that I haven’t had a chance to address yet. Over the next few months, I’ll be taking the time to tackle each one of these issues.

After Katie requested that Peter join her to resolve their disagreement, it was time for them to discuss things and put an end to their conflict, considering it was for the benefit of their family.

In her most recent episode of The Katie Price Podcast, Katie – who’s currently recuperating following a round of facial surgeries – expressed that it would be ideal if both parents could provide their support for her.

She added, “This isn’t about my personal feelings. Let me make it clear, I don’t mind not being part of Princess’s production.

‘I don’t need to raise my profile by being on Princess’s show, I do enough stuff.

What I aspire for is simply to mimic my daughter’s activities, and this sentiment extends to Junior as well. I don’t mind being in the background, but I yearn to observe her during photo shoots and signings, as these are experiences I myself have had.

Additionally, my mother, you, and Nan would often accompany and encourage me, an act for which I hold great pride. Now more than ever, I wish to stand by her side as I believe I have missed out on numerous precious moments together.

Katie went on: ‘It’s so not fair to bring Princess piggy in the middle.

As a lifestyle advocate, I find it essential to foster open communication and understanding among individuals. Let’s gather together and engage in an honest dialogue where we address any concerns or misunderstandings that may exist. This conversation will allow us to move forward and leave behind any lingering issues, ensuring a positive and harmonious environment for all.

Life seems less turbulent as I don’t face any issues. I believe that life could be improved overall.

I’m not suggesting that we should become close friends or hang out together all the time, but let’s try to put aside any differences and support each other’s children for the sake of the kids. Does that make sense?

In another part of the conversation, Sophie encouraged her niece to advocate for including Katie in the TV program.

Sophie mused: ‘Ultimately I do think it’s down to Princess to put her foot down a bit’.

However, Katie quickly countered by stating that Princess might feel intimidated to express her true desires directly to her superiors.

She mentioned, “Sophie, it’s important to recall that when I began my career, I didn’t have the support of management or others like them. Instead, I took the train, attended auditions, and worked hard.

For some time, Katie and Pete were widely recognized as the glamorous couple on reality television. Their extravagant wedding and numerous lucrative contracts made them a popular topic of discussion across Britain.

However, their relationship took a turn for the worse in 2009, following the dissolution of their marriage after four years. Katie asserted that it was Peter who chose to leave the partnership.

Many people across the country have observed the aftermath of Katie and Peter’s divorce, as well as the series of public criticisms exchanged by both parties.

In her latest ITV2 reality show, The Princess Diaries, the princess candidly discussed how her parents’ contentious divorce affected her deeply. She admitted that following the separation between her father and Katie, she found it difficult to seek his support because they no longer got along due to their mutual dislike towards each other.

During the show, she openly shared that she seeks guidance from a counselor, explaining that she had been unable to turn to her father in the past due to the strained relationship between her parents.

At a Turkish medical facility, Katie recently had a lip lift surgery, brow lift, and eyelid surgery. This week, while recuperating from these treatments, she was spotted outside with bandages covering her face and some blood on her attire.

Katie has a long history with cosmetic surgeries, including at least 16 breast augmentations, three nose jobs, and six facial rejuvenation procedures.

Lately, following her ban from participating in a television show produced by Can Associates that belongs to the princess, Katie has been vocal about her opinions. Instead of being subtle, she’s been making somewhat obvious criticisms, reminiscent of a former model.

The princess’ upcoming TV program will delve into her everyday life with her dad Peter, his spouse Emily, and elder sibling Junior, along with her journey as an influencer. This production is being handled by Pete’s firm, Can Associates.

The company took excellent care of Katie during her time with Pete, from 2003 to 2009, which was the dramatic year they parted ways.

More recently, Katie criticized those who previously cared for her, apparently alluding to Peter Andre’s management group, during an episode of her Katie Price Show podcast.

Sophie mentioned: “In her eighteenth birthday photos, she was sporting the shoes you got her for Christmas.” To which Katie responded: “Oh, how lovely!

Katie mentioned: “Everybody is aware that she’s making a documentary, but I’m not included. Some individuals believe it wouldn’t be beneficial for the Princess to associate with me. Those who once cared for me.

Her sister said: ‘You aren’t on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that’s why.

Her sister Sophie then urged Katie to ‘save it for another day’.

As a diehard fan, I’ve heard whispers that Katie may have been talking about her former public relations crew, the ones who continue to oversee her ex-husband Peter and our beloved Junior and Princess.

Throughout their collaboration, CAN facilitated the production of a high-profile reality show titled “Katie and Peter” on ITV, which subsequently made both Katie and Peter multi-millionaires.

However, Katie is no longer on good terms with CAN, which means she won’t be featured on Princess’s show anymore.

Previously, Katie had submitted legal papers accusing Peter, her ex-agents, and their former manager Claire, of conducting a defamatory campaign against her.

In simpler terms, Katie accused Claire of being a factor in the collapse of her marriage in 2009, asserting that Peter was involved romantically with both Katie and Claire simultaneously.

After a court loss, she was compelled to issue a public apology to both Peter and Claire.
