The individual speaking over the phone mentioned that his acquaintance, who many believed to be Harry Styles, a bandmate, had requested ‘attention’ and advised the woman to identify herself as Crystabel Riley, the band’s makeup artist, with hotel staff to divert fan attention outside.
For more than a decade, fans were left wondering about the identity of ‘Crystabel Riley.’ This mystery was finally unraveled when Tricia Corona, a 32-year-old mother of two who is now married, revealed that she was in fact the elusive woman on the other end of the line.
Despite the fact that Malik, who was almost 19 years old during his hotel encounter with Corona, was said to be dating Perrie Edwards from Little Mix, Perrie clarified to Daily Mail that she wasn’t responsible for breaking up their relationship.
‘We were kids, and that was that,’ Corona told Daily Mail at her home in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.

She stated, “When I respond, you can hear a mix of shouting, laughing, and chatter.” Later, she shared, “After I greet them, they remain silent and end the call.
She maintained that the practical joke happened an excessive number of times, persisting until midnight when she received a call from Malik, inviting her to meet him at his hotel in Philadelphia.
Corona said she agreed, and she and her friends began the one-and-a-half-hour drive back.
According to her, he keeps phoning me every two minutes, asking questions like “Where are you? How long till you arrive? Hurry up – you need to reach here quickly as we need to depart promptly since we actually have to go somewhere.’

According to Corona, Malik’s bandmate, Styles, expressed interest in one of her friends and invited that friend to his hotel room, which was across from Malik’s on the same night. According to Corona, when Malik opened the door, she stepped inside while Corona’s friend headed towards Styles’s room located opposite.
Inside, she mentioned they exchanged words with Malik, enjoyed themselves, and ordered a meal from room service. She specifically remembers it was chicken tenders and French fries.
‘We had a nice time. He was very respectful, very kind. We chatted, we had fun, got some food.
Corona stated that living as a groupie resembles the rules of Fight Club. It’s something you don’t discuss, but since I’ve moved on from that lifestyle, perhaps it’s no longer an issue for me.
She acknowledged they spent a night together, emphasizing that it was between two mature individuals. Both parties involved were adults, of legal age, and capable of giving consent. That’s the gist of what she stated.
