Coronation Street’s Beverley Callard, 68, showcases her huge leg tattoo in skimpy denim shorts after adding to the ‘growing’ inking

On Thursday, actress Beverley Callard from Coronation Street shared an Instagram post, revealing her large leg tattoo in the video.

In simpler terms, the actress known for her role as Liz McDonald on the ITV soap opera, now aged 68, was spotted casually in her kitchen wearing tight-fitting denim shorts.

Upon approaching her, her longtime husband, Jon McEwan (married since 2010), provided an opportunity for spectators to see the visible extension of her body art.

She has added a sixth magnolia to the ‘growing’ bloom of flowers which creeps up her lower leg.

The floral pattern on her leg gracefully ascends from her foot, featuring attractive petals in shades of purple, blue, and red.

Soap actress Beverley isn’t new to tattoos; she shared that her initial ink was done when she was 59 years old.

As a devoted admirer, I’d express it like this: I had the honor of getting an ink design that symbolizes my respect for my wife – a comedic and tragic mask, intertwined with a musical score, and a vibrant red heart to show love and dedication towards my husband Jon.

The couple’s names are written in the love heart along with 30-10-10, their wedding anniversary.

Prior to marrying Jon, Beverley had been wedded to Steve Callard from 1989 to 2001, David Sowden from 1980 to 1988, and Paul Atkinson for a three-year period between 1974 and 1977.

Beverley was previously married to Steve Callard (from 1989 to 2001), David Sowden (from 1980 to 1988), and Paul Atkinson for three years (between 1974 and 1977), before her union with Jon.

Both versions aim to convey the same information in a more natural and easily readable manner.

Beverley has shared before that she intends to have cosmetic surgery due to her fear of losing job opportunities.

In conversation with The Sun, Beverley expressed her intentions for undergoing a facelift, stating, “Indeed, I will be doing it. Regrettably, the entertainment world can still be quite unfair when it comes to gender and age.

She pondered on the frequent portrayal of husbands being significantly older than their wives in movies, noting that these wives often appear very thin, resembling sticks, and their facial expressions seldom change.

‘I’m just going to join that because I’m scared of not getting work,’ she added.

It’s speculated that the actress plans to get the procedure performed at a skin clinic located on Harley Street, London.

Although she’s quite resolute about undergoing the surgery, her spouse Jon and their adult children Rebecca (aged 46) and Joshua (aged 32) appear less enthusiastic.

Beverley dismissed their worries, explaining that she dislikes looking at mirrors due to low self-confidence regarding her looks, often choosing to portray a character rather than showing her true self.

In a heart-to-heart chat on Melanie Blake’s Girl Talk podcast back in March, I shared my intentions for a potential facelift. Jon, being the supportive and caring partner he is, expressed his reservations, saying, “Darling, please reconsider; let’s embrace our natural beauty together.

‘But I’m going to do it and I am doing it for me.’

Regarding the process itself, Beverley confessed that she is ‘completely terrified,’ but finds a bit of solace knowing she will be unconscious during it.
