Strictly’s Nadiya Bychkova breaks her silence on her condition after horror fall saw her rushed to hospital

Dance pro Nadiya Bychkova has finally spoken up about her health following a terrible accident where she fell.

On Tuesday, it seems the Ukrainian dancer, aged 35, was transported to the hospital following an accident during rehearsals where she fell and landed on her back.

During a training session in North London, the star suffered severe back pain after an injury, causing the crew to call for an ambulance.

On Wednesday, Nadiya posted an image from the hospital, updating her followers about her injury and sharing whether or not she’d be able to dance again soon on Instagram.

Let me share with you: “To begin with, oh boy, what a whirlwind of 24 hours! I’m deeply grateful for all your messages, kindness, and support. Just thought I should let you know that everything is alright with me.

Yesterday during training, I took a tumble and ended up flat on my back. For a moment there, I was filled with concern, but the kindness and swift action of the Strictly community and the dedicated medical team were nothing short of a lifeline for me. I’m forever grateful.

‘The staff at the hospital were so kind and caring.’

Nadiya added, “In that photo, you see me grinning, but truthfully, it was quite frightening. A few tears slipped out too since I had to remain motionless for quite a while. However, following an x-ray examination, I received good news – I was given the green light and sent home.

I have a physical therapy appointment today, but I won’t be away for long. I’ll be back dancing soon and I can’t wait to shine and sparkle in the upcoming season of the most popular TV show.

‘I can’t wait for you to see it. Keep dancing!’

According to an inside source, the Mirror reported that her injury appeared severe, prompting immediate action from the Strictly team. She was then carefully removed on a stretcher.

To ensure safety, after experiencing a fall during practice sessions, Nadiya has been transported to the hospital for an examination. She’s currently receiving comprehensive care and attention from both medical and welfare professionals.

The rehearsals are still ongoing, and the Strictly crew has been keeping in regular touch with Nadiya. By late afternoon, she was discharged from the hospital.

The London Ambulance Service confirmed that they received a call about an incident on Regent’s Park Road, NW1, at exactly 12:37 PM on August 12th.

‘We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated one person before taking them to hospital.’ 

Daily Mail contacted Nadiya’s representatives and Strictly Come Dancing for comment at the time.

On the Scott Mills Breakfast Show aired on BBC Radio 2, which was broadcasted on Wednesday, three well-known figures announced they would be partaking in a public statement.

For years, this show has been a favorite of mine to watch, and now being a part of it feels like living in a dream. Although I know it will be tough, I’m eager to embrace the excitement, sparkle, and glamour, and create some enchantment on that dance floor. Let’s embark on my Strictly journey!

In the Strictly line-up, La Voix expressed in a statement: “I’ve sung for royalty, RuPaul, and Simon Cowell, but nothing gets me more thrilled (and a fair amount of nervousness) than the prospect of dancing before millions on live Saturday night television.

Strictly, a renowned national establishment, has me excited for the upcoming experience. In closing, I wish my partner the best of luck as I hope they can guide me in transitioning from ‘La Voix’ to ‘La Danse.’

Chris admitted he was stepping well out of his “comfort zone” by signing up for the show.

He expressed that this situation pushes him well beyond his comfort zone. He’s excited to elevate his father’s dancing experience to a greater extent, and his mother is eager to involve him in her Zumba class.
