In a fascinating twist, life appears to mirror art for Jenna Ortega, as her appearance at Sydney Airport bore a striking resemblance to the character Wednesday from the well-known show.
The well-known actress from Hollywood, currently visiting Australia for the inauguration of Wednesday Island’s fan festival in Sydney, didn’t manage to create a smile on her face while walking through the arrivals area, dressed entirely in black.
On this travel day, the 22-year-old celebrity opted for a stylish ensemble consisting of a leather jacket, snug denim shorts, and a trendy graphic t-shirt.
She completed her gothic-style attire by adding thick, buckled black boots and a bag adorned with studs, and styled her hair into a half-up, half-down hairstyle.
She walked with a face bearing a likeness to her title role’s expression, navigating the terminal.
Jenna tried to blend in inconspicuously by wearing sunglasses, but her brightly dyed eyebrows, petite stature, and large security detail ultimately exposed her identity.

Also arriving in Sydney was none other than gothic mastermind Tim Burton.
The movie director from America, known for animating classics such as Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Beetlejuice on the big screen, made a choice to dress entirely in black as well.
As a diehard fan, I donned a button-up shirt, a coat, and jeans as I braved the frosty Sydney winter, clutching a backpack close, weaving my path through the bustling airport.
He, too, tried to slide under the radar with a black fedora and glasses.
In simpler terms, during Wednesdays, Burton holds the role of an executive producer, and he’s also been the director for multiple episodes in both season 1 and season 2 of a popular Netflix series.
Emma Myers, known for her role as Wednesday’s vibrant Nevermore roommate Enid Sinclair in the hit series, likewise arrived in Sydney together with Jenna and Tim.
The actress donned a roomy gray hoodie sweater when she arrived, pulling it up to conceal her face from the throng of photographers.
She paired the sweater with baggy jeans and dark shades.

The actress appeared nervous, biting at her nail as her security shooed away an excited fan.
In the initial weeks of this month, the first four episodes of Wednesday’s second season received praise from critics upon their release.
The second half of the season is expected to hit screens in September.
2022 saw the new television series, derived from the successful comic strip The Addams Family, making waves as it became the highest-ranked English language TV show on Netflix, based on reports by Variety.
The second season is expected to match its success, having garnered more than 50 million views within the initial five days since it was streamed on the platform.
