In a playful Instagram post on Tuesday, Ashley Roberts showcased her sunburned derriere while relaxing during her vacation in sunny Turkey.
Previously of the Pussycat Dolls band, the singer confessed that she often forgets to apply sufficient sunscreen when basking in the sunlight at the beach.
In one of my recent Instagram Stories, I proudly showcased my fashion sense by sporting a vibrant blue bikini. As I turned, I took care to highlight the striking red detailing on the bottom half.
The radio host playfully remarked, “Am I too hot to handle?” as she adjusted her swimsuit, exposing a sunburn on her hip and showing off her lower back tattoo.
She said: ‘Day one and I never learn, ouch!’
This morning, Ashley enjoyed a refreshing dip in the sea, escaping the heat, all while being a guest at the 4-star Yazz Collective hotel.

After Ashley shared more details with Bryony Podcast (The Life of Bryony, Mail’s), it was revealed that her experience in the music industry took a heavy emotional toll on her.
She shared with Mail columnist Bryony Gordon that having to quit dancing and finding breathwork helped prevent a mental breakdown for her.
When the performer became a member of The Pussycat Dolls in 2003, she was just 22 years old. Following the group’s separation in 2010, she relocated from Los Angeles to London.
In simpler terms, Ashley’s latest publication takes the valuable insights gained from her challenging experiences and turns them into usable strategies for enhancing both mental and physical wellness.
‘My body was literally shutting down’, Ashley told the podcast.
One evening, The Dolls were performing in London. Meanwhile, I found myself in my hotel room when, quite unexpectedly, an intense headache struck me.
The intensity of the pain was beyond belief, and I started feeling quite ill as well. Since we had a performance scheduled in Germany the following day, I reached out to my manager for advice. He suggested I head straight to the hospital.
Initially, the doctors believed I might have suffered from a brain aneurysm. However, during an MRI scan, my knee suddenly stiffened instead, which turned out to be an instance of viral arthritis invading my system.

At the time, I was completely focused on getting to the next performance. However, there was a point when I paused and thought, “Something isn’t right here. I need to stop for a moment because this isn’t good.
Ashley disclosed that the ruthless nature of the music business had ingrained an unhealthy work attitude within her, which was adversely affecting her physical well-being.
‘The early 2000s was a whole different era honey’, the performer told Bryony.
‘No one ever spoke about mental health or the importance of checking in.
I appreciate the change – it’s good that individuals are prioritizing self-care by canceling events when necessary.
‘I felt I was weak. It was instilled in us from a young age that we were interchangeable.
‘There was a pressure of like, if you don’t show up, who knows what might happen?
Growing up, I was immersed in the dance community, instilling in me a mentality that even when injured, such as a broken toe, one should persevere and continue performing. This mindset is deeply ingrained, often leading to the thought process of: the performance must not be halted.

Ultimately, I needed to step away for a while due to a severe viral illness that likely stemmed from exhaustion. The symptoms were intense.
Ever since The Pussycat Dolls disbanded back in 2010, I, being an unapologetic fan, couldn’t help but keep a close eye on Ashley’s career. And boy, did she not disappoint! After giving it her all and making it to the runner-up spot in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2012, she proved that she was here to stay and conquer the UK scene.
Following her permanent relocation to London, the Heart Radio host shared with Bryony that her sense of spiritual disorientation in her new environment prompted her exploration into breathwork, a passion rivaled only by her deep-seated love for music.
‘After the Dolls, I stopped dancing completely’, Ashley said.
After being part of a pop band for such an extended period, I decided it was time for a change and chose to pursue a new path.
It was then she found breathwork: ‘It created this sense of calm that I can’t explain.
For a moment, the internal turmoil that I’ve long experienced seemed to subside, giving me a brief respite from my ongoing struggle.
‘I didn’t quite realise how then how great a tool it would be in helping me process life.
After my father passed away, it was his capacity for introspection that inspired me to keep going, and now I wish to pass on this motivation.
