Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist Chris Appleton thrown thinly-veiled dig by White Lotus star ex-husband

This week, Chris Appleton’s former spouse came up with a harsh response upon hearing about the hairstylist’s recently announced self-help book.

30-year-old actor Lukas Gage, who was previously married to Kim Kardashian’s friend for six months before their split in November 2023, shared his thoughts about the new book of model Myles Appleton titled “Your Roots Don’t Define You” during an open conversation with TMZ.

Gage is slated to release his memoir titled “I Wrote This For Attention” in October. Just three months prior to that, Appleton’s book will be out, and he remarked: ‘It’s an honor for me to impact someone else’s publishing date of their book.’

When quizzed about the close release dates of the book, Gage said: ‘Maybe it’s coincidental.’  

Lukas and Chris got married privately, with just six people present, at the Little White Chapel. They had obtained their marriage license from Clark County beforehand.

Previously, several high-profile couples – including Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, as well as Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow – all chose this very venue for their wedding ceremony.

Among the other attendees were Appleton’s two children, his 22-year-old son Billy and 20-year-old daughter Kitty-blu, whom he had brought with salon owner Katie Katon from Leicester. It was not until he was 26 that he publicly acknowledged his homosexuality.

In February 2023, Gage and Appleton announced their relationship publicly by posting holiday photos taken at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico.

On The Drew Barrymore Show, on March 17th, Appleton expressed heartfelt joy, deep affection, and profound gratitude for being able to spend time with a truly special person, whom he cherishes deeply.

‘I find love to be quite extraordinary, and encountering someone who resonates deeply with you is an equally remarkable experience.’

On that particular episode of TODAY airing on March 27th, Gage expressed feeling incredibly happy, fortunate, and deeply in love.

“He exudes an attractive charm. Spending time in London gave me a glimpse into the British culture, leaving me captivated and irresistibly drawn.”

Gage is renowned for his characters as Dillon from season one of The White Lotus, Adam Pratt on season four of You, and Tyler Clarkson in Euphoria.

Additionally, he will reappear in the character of Lars Olmstead for a continuous appearance in the dark comedy “Fargo,” set in 2019 and scheduled to debut on FX later this year.

Currently, Chris manages a star-studded roster featuring Drew Barrymore, a Daytime Emmy nominee, as well as Grammy nominees Jennifer Lopez (twice) and Dua Lipa (three times).

They wed in Vegas in April 2023 with Kardashian officiating.

She also organized for music superstar Shania Twain to serenade the couple. 

 Shania sang: ‘Chris, Lukas, looks like you made it, get over here, let’s do this.’

During the moment when Shania sang her hit song ‘You’re Still The One’ from 1997, both Chris and Lukas expressed their affection by saying, “We love you!” in unison.

Appleton filed for divorce in November 2023 citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
