As the release of Emerald Fennell’s new film, Wuthering Heights, gets closer, Margot Robbie has been promoting it with a thoughtful gift. She had custom signet rings made – not just for herself, but also for her co-star, Jacob Elordi. Jeweler Cece Fein-Hughes shared details about the meaningful presents on social media, explaining the story behind the beautiful rings.
As reported by Vogue, Robbie’s stylist, Andrew Mukamal, reached out to Fein-Hughes hoping to design something exceptional for the promotional events surrounding the release.
Fein-Hughes shared a screenshot of a Vogue article on Instagram, expressing their excitement about designing coordinating outfits for Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. The pieces were created to commemorate Robbie and Elordi’s time filming their roles as Catherine and Heathcliff in the new Wuthering Heights adaptation.

Margot gave Jacob this artwork, which shows two skeletons mirroring a famous movie poster. It’s a gentle reminder that love lasts forever. Even as time goes on and things fade, the connection between two people can remain strong.
The design features a quote from Emily Brontë – “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same” – circling images of skeletons. Roses and thorns frame the artwork, with each element hinting at a story of intense love, loyalty, and untamed romance. One side is engraved with “C & H,” and the other with the publication date of the book and movie.

“It was the greatest honour to bring these pieces to life.”
Recently, director Fennell discussed something that’s gotten fans of the book talking: the movie’s title appears in quotation marks on promotional materials, like the poster.
She explained to Fandango that it’s impossible to directly translate a complex novel like this one to the screen. Instead of a faithful adaptation, she’s creating a reimagining of the story.
The memory I have of reading this story isn’t entirely accurate. I also imagined events that didn’t actually occur. That’s the nature of Wuthering Heights – it’s both familiar and not quite as I remember it.
A new version of Emily Brontë’s famous novel is coming to UK cinemas on February 13th. The film stars Robbie as Catherine and Jacob Elordi, known for his role in Saltburn, as Heathcliff.
Wuthering Heights is released in UK cinemas on 13 February.
