Chris Hughes and girlfriend JoJo Siwa shared affectionate moments in a series of sweet photos during their vacation on a lavish Caribbean cruise, accompanied by her family.
This year, the pair who crossed paths on Celebrity Big Brother, embarked on a luxurious four-day voyage aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Star Of The Seas. Their journey commenced in Puerto Rico and concluded in Florida.
The world’s largest cruise liner made its debut at Port Canaveral, Florida, on a Saturday.
On their social media platforms, there were glimpses of an affectionate moment between Chris, aged 32, a past Love Island star, and young American singer JoJo, who is 22 years old. In these photos, they appeared to be radiant with joy as they smiled for the camera together.
One photo saw the lovebirds gazing at one another as they enjoyed a trip to a picturesque island.
They felt lively and cheerful as they positioned themselves before the multi-talented, entertainment-packed cruise ship, with prices ranging from approximately £901 per individual for an inside cabin, up to around £4,419 per person for a suite.
In a monochrome photograph, Chris and JoJo struck a pose alongside each other, hinting at the presence of companions during their journey.
Chris tagged her dad Tom and mum Jessalynn, as well as her older brother Jayden.
Jessalynn shared on Instagram that her heart is overflowing after spending four fantastic days aboard a stunning cruise ship with her dearest friends, using the hashtag ‘#royalpartner’.
Currently, JoJo isn’t posting anything on her social media, because she’s busy promoting her latest single called “Raspy” instead.
Her previous posts were replaced with images for her new album cover, which she referred to as a self-critical rap song, or a song that could be interpreted as criticizing herself or the world.
More casually, you could say: Chris confessed that he switched his bond with JoJo from a friendship to a romantic one by expressing his feelings in writing.
In Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, they quickly formed a close bond and started dating following the show’s finale.
Chris shared that he traveled to the United States to unexpectedly celebrate JoJo’s birthday, and he penned down his emotions at a hotel bar to express his true feelings towards her.
In a heartfelt conversation with The Sun, I shared my feelings: “Initially, I was muddled and uncertain. But then, the fog lifted and clarity set in. Overwhelmed by my emotions, I felt compelled to put pen to paper, expressing to her exactly how I felt.
I traveled to Florida with the thought that I really liked this person, but I was somewhat unsure about my feelings towards them. Before my flight, I had already written them a birthday card. Upon arrival, I brought over various gifts – they were fun and sentimental rather than expensive.
On the eve of her birthday, I unexpectedly found myself with altered emotions. I informed her, “I need to step out for a bit. I’ll return within thirty minutes.” I then headed to the hotel front desk, grabbed a pen, and returned to our room.
Initially, Chris considered JoJo as just a friend. However, as the series progressed, his feelings for her started evolving.
Prior to her romance with Chris, JoJo publicly identified as a lesbian and was involved with popular Australian social media personality Kath Ebbs. However, their relationship didn’t last long after JoJo exited the Big Brother house, as they eventually parted ways.
