Although the series promises to be enjoyable on its own, understanding the backstory and getting a feel for the sequence of events will significantly boost your viewing experience.

Do you need to watch any movies or shows before Alien: Earth?

Viewing the earlier Alien films isn’t essential when watching Alien: Earth, since the narrative stands on its own. While it might enhance your experience if you have some understanding of the storyline and recognize the fearsome Xenomorph creatures.
