According to exclusive photos from The Daily Mail, the well-known host of This Morning, aged 48, was spotted dining out at a popular celebrity haunt in Sitges, noticeably without her wedding ring on.
At the enchanting restaurant known as Chiringuito de Garraf, it was noticed by fellow diners that the presenter seemed somewhat subdued, donning a stylish halter-neck dress and gleaming sandals, while she enjoyed what appeared to be a succulent lobster meal.
The individual accompanying her at dinner turned out to be Ben Skervin, a close friend and hairstylist, whose journey to Spain he had shared on Instagram. On that post, Cat expressed her affection by commenting, “I love you.
A resident of London, known for appearances alongside Cat on social media, self-identifies as a ‘free-lance celebrity and hairstylist in the fashion world’. His professional background, as detailed on his personal website, includes working with notable figures such as the Spice Girls, Keira Knightley, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Hugh Jackman, renowned photographers like Karl Lagerfeld, and prestigious fashion publications including American Vogue and Vanity Fair.
The photos of the eatery were captured on August 2nd, mere days following the announcement of Cat and Patrick’s separation, marking the end of their 12-year union.
A fellow diner shared with The Daily Mail that Cat seemed somewhat subdued and a little sad, which isn’t typical of her lively personality. This is probably due to her recent marital separation.
At the well-known restaurant frequented by celebrities, her distinctive accent caught the ears of several Britons, and she even exchanged words with a group of British children who were dining there as well.

Clearly, Cat understood how near Patrick was to Mary, and it seemed fitting for her to be there with him as he laid his mother to rest, offering comfort by placing a hand on his shoulder. However, instead of joining him, she remained in London and hosted This Morning that day. This decision has not been overlooked.”

In May 2012, they publicly announced their relationship, and then, in September of the same year, they exchanged vows in a private wedding ceremony held in Rome.
For ten years, the previous pair resided in California, but they returned to the United Kingdom because Cat strongly desired to live near her relatives.
In a reference to the change of location, Patrick expressed, “I believe for significant decisions such as this one, it’s essential to test the waters and gauge the potential outcomes.
As an ardent admirer, I found it peculiar yet heartwarming that it was Cat herself who yearned for a change, driven perhaps by the challenges of early motherhood and the absence of her extended family. In my opinion, although I reside in London, it doesn’t feel like home to me. Over the years, London has never truly become my home. Instead, in my mind, I continue to dwell in a small village in County Down, even though I haven’t lived there permanently for three decades.
For me, the longer flight distance from Los Angeles to where my family lives didn’t seem like an issue since I would need to take a flight to visit them regardless.
Additionally, given that Cat had a thriving professional life, it was her choice when and how to step away from it. That decision, being unique to her, is one she alone has the power to make. Your role is to stand by her in this choice.
