Olivia Attwood reveals the bloody and bruised results of her latest beauty procedure after having fish DNA injected into her face

On Monday, Olivia Attwood posted on Instagram, revealing a swollen and discolored complexion – this, following a procedure where fish DNA was injected into her skin.

Makeup-focused Olivia shared on her social media an image showcasing the apparent side effects of a unique anti-aging process known as polynucleotide treatment – an unusual method that employs DNA fragments, often sourced from salmon, to enhance skin elasticity, texture, and glow.

34-year-old ex-Love Island star donned a sleek black mini dress and stylish leather boots in her latest post, which depicted her during a dermatological treatment conducted by Dr. Saleena Zimri at Skin Doctor London.

Observing as Zimri pushed a needle into an uncovered limb, she quipped playfully, “Even wrinkly spots aren’t spared!

Later on, she shared another video displaying her injured face, just moments following a set of additional injections at the Fitzrovia medical center.

Captioning the Instagram video, she added: ‘Ignore that little drip of blood – I’m a bleeder.’

Olivia frequently visits the clinic, having received treatment for Jawtite using Skin Doctor in the past. Dr. Zimri, who works there, characterizes this procedure as a blend of liposuction and radio frequency technology.

In February, she posted both pre-and post-makeover photos of the TV personality on Instagram, stating that these changes were not due to aging and that her Body Mass Index (BMI) was typical.

‘For some individuals, body structure and genes cause fat storage below the chin, often accompanied by a shorter or receding chin that makes it seem more voluminous due to reduced length.’

Additionally, she acknowledged that Olivia keeps her results up by regularly undergoing laser and RF facial treatments, as well as occasional minor adjustments with fillers.

Today’s new hire made her latest visit to the clinic, following her participation in an ITV reality showcase in London earlier in the day.

Although Olivia had been increasingly active on television, with regular appearances on Loose Women and hosting her own documentaries, she faced criticism after being appointed to her newest role on This Morning.

Instead of traditionalists, some viewers who prefer tradition might announce a boycott of the daytime show, stating they would cease viewing it if she becomes part of the hosting crew.

Olivia later insisted she was determined to succeed in the role and prove her haters wrong.

She told The Sun: ‘Those who know me understand the hard work I’ve put in to get where I am today.

As a loyal devotee, I can’t express enough gratitude to Love Island for providing the platform that launched my career. However, I’m eager to demonstrate that there is an abundance of untapped potential within me that extends far beyond the confines of the villa.

Despite the challenges, I’ve consistently kept my eyes on the prize and trusted in my abilities. I am deeply grateful that ITV has recognized and supported me in my journey.

During the summer months, a variety of hosts graced our screens on This Morning, including Sian Welby, Dermot O’Leary, Emma Willis, Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes, Joel Dommett, Craig Doyle, and Andi Peters.
