Fashion influencer gets slammed as she goes braless in ‘hideous’ designer dress

Elle Ferguson has been slammed for attending a fashion show in a very revealing designer dress.

The individual well-known for leaving The Block in 2022 shared a video on Instagram over the weekend, donning a lilac gown by Loewe.

For the Fall 2025 line from the high-end fashion brand, there was a dress boasting a deep v-neck and a flared, layered design at the waist, reminiscent of a peplum style.

I must say, THE LILAC @loewe dress is even more stunning in person. It was truly a dream come true to experience Jonathan Anderson’s last collection firsthand and get the chance to try on different pieces from it. A big thank you goes out to the amazing #loewe team and @mcm_pr for making this possible.

Many commenters rushed to criticize Elle’s appearance, claiming that the dress didn’t suit her body shape, as they found it unflattering on her.

In my opinion, just because something is different doesn’t mean it’s necessarily becoming. Allow me to clarify that I’m referring to this particular dress and not you. Frankly, this dress doesn’t seem to flatter anyone due to its design.

‘That dress is hideous!’ another agreed while a third added: ‘God that’s an ugly dress.’

One person said it appeared quite awkward to put on, while another expressed dislike for the dress, regretfully.

Some people even went as far as saying, “She’s got the whole runway feel about her. This girl should strut her stuff on the catwalk.

‘Actual Supermodel,’ another added.

After publicly revealing a string of startling experiences from her past, which she faced during her rise as a prosperous businesswoman, Elle’s latest post follows suit.

In May, the popular Instagram personality, known for her Block stardom, shared on her stories an old memory that resonates with numerous women.

Captioning the story ‘awkward question’, Elle related the cringeworthy experience in the post.

I recall distinctly a job interview, led by a woman, where she inquired if my advancement in my career was attributed to my physical appearance.

She also posted a single black tile with the caption, ‘can I ask you a question?’

‘I’m sitting here looking at you…you’re an attractive looking girl…lady.

‘How important does that play in getting yourself to stand out amongst the crowd?’

She shared another post querying, “Would a man be posed this question?”, and presented a multiple-choice format with ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ options.

Later on, she concluded her narrative with a last post stating, ‘One of the questions I received from Mark Bouris in 2019 was this.’

The entrepreneur mentioned her appearance as a guest on Boris’ The Mentor podcast during an interview with the founder of Wizard Home Loans.

In the course of the interview, Bouris asks the ex-Block cast member, who is successful in the fashion world due to her attractiveness, “How have you managed to balance this asset throughout your life, and how did you leverage it effectively?

Bouris added, “What I’m trying to say is it’s perfectly fine to leverage your resources, but let me clarify that I’m not implying any wrongdoing on your part. I anticipate some criticism, so the question is: How can we navigate this situation?

Elle shared that she needed to put in more effort to achieve her success, as she was striving to overcome the stereotype of being a “Legally Blonde” airhead.
