At the Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall on Saturday, Nelly Furtado showed off her radiant smile and her long, stylish legs.

47-year-old songwriter behind “I’m Like a Bird,” sported an impressive look in a set of khaki-ruffled shorts, complemented by a green wrap-around shirt and scarf.

Instead of wearing the usual color for her outfit, she opted for a striking contrast by pairing it with prominent white cowboy boots. These boots were clearly visible as she confidently showcased her performance on stage.

With a stylish pair of dark green-black shaded sunglasses and eye-catching jewelry, the celebrity appeared to be thoroughly enjoying herself.

Although the list of songs she sang during her performance hasn’t been released yet, she has recently performed well-known tracks such as “Say It Right,” “Maneater,” “I’m Like a Bird,” and “All Good Things (Come to an End)”.

At the Boardmasters Festival, the performer joins a number of well-known artists such as The Prodigy, who will be the main act closing the festival on Sunday evening.

At the recent Cornish music festival, Nelly showcased her self-assuredness, following her disclosure of having experienced an abusive relationship with a previous partner in the past.

Nelly similarly expressed that, when falling in love, women often put their own happiness on hold.

She shared that she endured a challenging period during which she may have tolerated certain treatments that she wouldn’t stand for today, as discussed on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

The artist behind I’m Like a Bird remarked, “It’s something that can’t be seen while within it, yet there are times when we find ourselves loving deeply, and loving.

She also mentioned that there must be other women who, once they become mothers, feel particularly vulnerable because they are so deeply concerned about providing the best for their children and safeguarding them.

Nelly is a mom to three kids: Nevis, age 21, whom she shares with her former partner Jasper Gahunia, along with two additional children – a son and a daughter whose names she hasn’t revealed yet – who are from her relationship with the rapper Jerry (also known as Gerard Damien Long).

During the periods when she was not in a relationship with the parents of her kids, she was wedded to sound engineer Demacio Castellon from 2008 to 2016.

Furtado shared on Call Her Daddy that, in essence, anyone could potentially experience a sense of powerlessness.

One could say she suggested that an individual struggling to feel strong and decisive might find it challenging to leave a potentially harmful environment, which may not only be detrimental but also abusive in some form.

Furtado suggests that women should maintain a close relationship with individuals who provide advice that might be difficult to accept, as these individuals likely have a deep understanding of you and won’t alienate you with harsh judgment.
