Sarah Abo got more than she bargained for this week when she headed to Queensland.
On Friday, the co-host of Today, aged 39, led the Channel Nine morning show northward for their live broadcast from the Mount Isa Rodeo.
Sharing her rural journey on Instagram, it appears that Sarah was eagerly immersing herself in the experience.
Sarah posted a collection of pictures, capturing moments of herself and her fellow Today show hosts relishing the rodeo atmosphere.
At one point during her trip, Sarah decided that she would try her luck on a mechanical bull.
In my humble opinion, I effortlessly embodied the rugged charm while perched upon my trusty steed. Donning a sleek black Akubra hat, fitting denim jeans, and a rich, earthy brown T-shirt, I exuded an air of casual yet stylish confidence.
The situation began enthusiastically, as Sarah beamed with pride while astride the bull, while Karl Stefanovic looked on with anticipation from the sidelines.
In a second image, Sarah appeared to struggle keeping hold of her bull, as she began to slide off its back while Karl grinned, his hand raised above him.
In the end, everything became overwhelming for Sarah, culminating in the bull knocking her off its back, leaving no trace of her iconic Akubra hat behind.
The amusing spectacle caught the curiosity of Harper, Karl’s adorable five-year-old daughter, as well as Richard Wilkins from Today, who both shared in enjoying Sarah’s act alongside Karl.
Sarah took it all in her stride, though, laughing as she lay back on the inflatable safety floor.
‘My first rodeo. What a time!!’ she captioned the photos.

Apart from that, Karl additionally uploaded their journey on Instagram, posting a collection of joyful family photos featuring Harper and his spouse Jasmine, who is 41 years old.
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but feel like I was sharing the screen with Kevin Costner himself when I saw Karl’s recent Instagram posts. In these adorable snaps, he sported an authentic bone-hued Akubra hat that perfectly embodied the rugged charm of the Yellowstone ranchers.
He also wore a sleeveless Driza-Bone jacket over a red and white collared check shirt.
The well-known host completed his “country” style with a pair of light-toned denims and brown footwear.
In one photo, he appeared radiant with joy, standing next to his daughter Harper, a broad smile gracing his face.
Harper looked cute-as-a-button in a pale pink Akubra hat that matched her dad’s perfectly.
Maintaining consistency with the color palette, Harper donned a pink blouse and a tutu of the same hue, completing the look with extravagant pink-and-brown leather cowboy boots.
A second photo showed Karl and Harper cuddling up close to mum Jasmine, who also looked the part.
She wore a black and white chequered shirt and a pair of form-fitting black jeans.
Instead of sporting an Akubra hat on her blonde hair, Jasmine accessorized her outfit with a stylish pair of black and white cowboy boots and some trendy gold-rimmed sunglasses.
The family seemed genuinely happy, enjoying their family moments together. Notably, Harper was radiant, snuggling closely with her father.
A third photo showed Sarah taking Harper out for a spot of retail therapy.
