Pokémon Unite Latias Movesets
Basic Attack
Deals damage to opposing Pokémon.
Passive – Levitate
Whenever this Pokemon performs an action, its speed temporarily boosts. The same happens if Latios is present. If both are on the same team, this Pokemon can fly towards Latios. However, this power can only be activated when the Pokemon isn’t engaged in battle. Once used, it needs a cool-down period before it can be utilized again.
Ability 1 – Confusion
Did the user successfully discharge a feeble psychic force towards the specified direction, causing harm and temporarily reducing the speed of enemy Pokémon that get hit?
Ability Choices at Level 7
At Level 7, Latias would have to choose either of the following abilities:
| Mist Ball | Dragon Cheer |
|---|---|
| Has the user release a mist-like flurry of down in the designated direction. After a set amount of time passes, or if the move is used again, the flurry of down bursts creates a zone of mist. Opposing Pokémon in the zone take damage, receive a slowing effect, and are marked. Marked opposing Pokémon deal decreased damage. If either Latias or Latios hits marked Pokémon with basic attacks, the duration those Pokémon remain marked increases. | Has the user rally the designated ally Pokémon, granting itself and that Pokémon a shield. If the rallied ally Pokémon is Latios, movement speed is also increased. The rallied ally Pokémon’s next attack deals additional damage. This move can be used again to rally a second designated ally Pokémon. If this second usage rallies the same ally Pokémon as the first, the user also flies to that Pokémon and rallies itself. |
| Upgrade: Increases the duration opposing Pokemon remain marked. | Upgrade: Strengthens the effect of the shield granted by this move. |
Ability 2 – Swift
As a gamer, I’d say, “When I unleash this ability, I blast out radiant, star-like beams over a wide swath, zapping any rival Pokémon they touch, causing some serious harm!
Ability Choices at Level 5
At Level 5, either of these two moves becomes available.
| Dragon Pulse | Dragon Breath |
|---|---|
| After the user learns this move, it gains Eon power whenever it defeats wild Pokémon. This move has the user generate a beam in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits and restoring the user’s HP. If the user hits an opposing Pokémon with this move, the user gains Eon power. This move also releases telekinetic projectiles, which deal damage. The more Eon power the user has accumulated, the more projectiles are released and the more damage they deal. | After the user learns this move, it gains Eon power whenever it defeats wild Pokémon. This move has the user exhale a mighty gust in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits and decreasing their Sp. Def. If this move hits Pokémon on the opposing team, the user gains Eon power. The more Eon power the user has accumulated, the greater this move’s attack range and damage. |
| Upgrade: The beam also applies a slowing effect to opposing Pokemon. | Upgrade: Also applies a slowing effect. |
Unite Move – Mist Blast
Users direct their action towards the chosen opponent Pokémon, build up power, then discharge a wave causing harm. Upon use, the move’s cooldown resets instantly and remains lowered for a brief period. If Latios is simultaneously using its Unite Move on the same target, the waves accumulate and detonate, inflicting damage in the surrounding area too.

Pokémon Unite Latias Gameplay Tips
Let’s dive into our guide on playing Pokémon Unite effectively, outlining an ideal strategy for mastering various Pokémon throughout the game. This guide is split into two parts: early and late game phases. Be sure to read through to the end for a comprehensive understanding.
Early Game
From the get-go, Latias maintains its strength without needing an evolution, making it a formidable choice from the start. In terms of positioning, players have the option to pick either the Top or Bottom Lane to support their teammate in attacking. Initially, it’s crucial to focus on farming for experience to elevate Latias and discover more potent combos as you progress.

It’s advisable to focus on improving Swift first, as it deals significant damage and aids in efficient farming at the beginning. In contrast, Confusion boosts your offensive power by slowing down enemies struck by its ability. When used together, these abilities can prove incredibly potent.
Focus on assisting your ally in effectively farming resources and aim to defeat early-game powerful Pokémon such as Rotom quickly. This will help your ally level up rapidly, enable them to defeat enemy Pokémon more easily and collect the objectives necessary for a team victory. When partnered with allies like its twin, Latios, they can form a potent combination on the battlefield.
Late Game
For better performance with Latias, consider activating and employing the suggested build sequence: Mist Ball and Dragon Breath. These skills offer both damage output and a debilitating effect on enemy Pokemon in the vicinity.

Alternatively, the Dragon Cheer and Dragon Pulse combo could prove beneficial for your strategy, as Latias becomes more efficient in aiding and bolstering her team’s Pokémon while maintaining an aggressive edge. Therefore, pick this combination that aligns best with your game plan. Moreover, during the Zapdos battle, Latias’ Unite move can be highly effective at eliminating enemies and stealing victory, as it helps focus on and dismantle the targeted opponent.
Positioning of Latias
In simpler terms, for Latias, it’s advisable to position in either the top or bottom lane. Players should focus on helping fellow lane partners farm Aipoms, Audinos, and whenever possible, Combees and Vespiqueen. This strategy will help everyone level up quickly. Additionally, Latias’ offensive abilities work best when paired with an ally who is a speedster or attacker.
