Brooke Hogan is attempting to move forward from the past, grieving the loss of her father Terry, who was famously recognized as Hulk Hogan by his numerous admirers.
In simpler terms, the musician known as “The About Us Singer,” aged 37 at the time, had been separated from the professional wrestler who passed away due to a heart attack on July 24, at the age of 71.
The ex-star of Hogan Knows Best can still remember some of the last things she said to her father prior to their falling out.
As a devoted fan, I must admit that during an interview with TMZ, I found myself feeling uneasy about certain individuals within Hulk’s inner circle. However, it’s crucial to clarify that his esteemed partner, Sky Daily, who is 46 years old, was not among those causing my discomfort.
She clarified, ‘The distance I maintained was like a barrier for me, as there were certain individuals he associated with that I wasn’t comfortable with. It wasn’t just Sky; it was several people whose actions gave me cause for concern. I cautioned him by saying, “Dad, be wary – these situations seem suspicious. Are you planning to address them?”‘
She explained that the six-time WWF champion was ‘never alone. He was always with someone.’
During one of their final talks, the mourning daughter recounted him saying something along the lines of, “I suppose it’s time for each of us to go on with our own lives now.
‘That was kind of how it was left,’ she said.
During a different portion of the interview, she recounted a challenging encounter with her father that was observed by a construction worker who happened to be renovating their home at the time.
She shared that the contractor had texted her and expressed concern, saying, “Are you alright, young one? Seeing what happened was tough on me.” As she grew older, her father had developed a more hardened demeanor, which was understandable.
Brooke emphasized multiple times that she held no problems with Hulk’s wife, Sky, yet made it clear that the Thunder in Paradise actress harbored doubts about remarrying.
According to reports, he shared with Brooke that ending things with her wouldn’t be good. But when she inquired about the reasons, all he said was that he didn’t want to discuss it further.
In a text conversation, she mentioned that they had polite differences of opinion about him ending things with Sky. At one point, she expressed her disapproval of his dating choices by saying, “Frankly, I haven’t endorsed the people you’ve been seeing.
Brooke shared that she found his actions immature, which made her feel upset to the point of tears. She clarified, “He said some things that really hurt me.
In a tribute to his memory, Brooke and her husband, retired NHL player Steve Olesky (age 39), brought their newborn twins, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene, to the beach in remembrance of Brooke’s father.
Gene was the late wrestler’s middle name.

Brooke and Olesky got married privately in Orlando, Florida, in June 2022. Unfortunately, her father couldn’t attend the wedding.

In a separate Instagram post, Brooke shared a clip from a ‘wedding’ that was part of a WWE show.
In her own words, ‘This moment feels as fresh to me as if it happened just yesterday… When I caught sight of my father, dressed in a suit, ready to escort me on our way down the aisle – surprisingly, in a wrestling ring of all places, I couldn’t help but feel a lump form in my throat.’
As she reminisced, she said, “‘I felt a surge of anxiety and emotion, like it was a genuine situation… and then he softly told me ‘Relax, it’s just work.’
Although she didn’t have the opportunity to live that experience in reality, she found a way to combine two joyful memories together instead… She wrote, “Unfortunately, my dad never walked me down the aisle in real life, but I can now proudly say, ‘My dad did walk me down the aisle once…'”.
