Kim Kardashian traveled to Mexico accompanied by her sister, Khloe, in order to undergo a procedure unavailable in the U.S.
On a Friday, the 45-year-old television personality shared on Instagram about her activities, posting pictures that were snapped at the heart of things.
Turns out she was getting Muse stem cell treatment.
Kim was spotted wearing black pajamas and dark goggles while posing alongside her doctor. Additionally, a photo emerged showing her undergoing a procedure, with traces of blood visible on her back.
‘I’m so excited to share with you guys my stem cell journey,’ began the ex-wife of Kanye West.
In the United States, it’s important to clarify that while not all stem cell treatments are prohibited, certain approved stem cell therapies, particularly those derived from umbilical cord blood for treating specific blood disorders, have been given the green light by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and are therefore legal.
On the other hand, many other types of stem cell treatments are still seen as experimental and haven’t been officially sanctioned for widespread application.
