Amy Childs and Lauren Goodger put on leggy displays as they reunite with TOWIE co-stars at ITV launch

Amy Childs and Lauren Goodger rejoined their fellow cast members from TOWIE at the launch of ITV’s Reality Entertainment schedule, held in London on a Friday.

For quite some time, these old friends had been a part of the initial cast on the ITVBe show. More recently, they’ve graciously come back to the series.

Amy, who is 35 years old, showcased her significant weight loss in a deep-cutting, vibrant pink jumpsuit adorned with flower patterns at the bottom and on the cuffs.

The woman with four children shared that due to her mother’s illness, she had experienced a particularly stressful time, leading to a weight loss of approximately 14 kg (which is equivalent to two stones).

Simultaneously, Lauren has announced her intention for a personal change – she’s planning to undo her Brazilian butt lift and breast augmentation procedures.

At the gathering, the 38-year-old television figure showcased her physique in a stylish combination: a pair of sleek black satin shorts adorned with lace, complemented by a crisp white jacket.

The event saw the TV host, aged 38, flaunt her figure in a chic ensemble, which consisted of black satin shorts boasting a delicate lace edge and a smart white blazer.

At the event, it was clear that the cast from TOWIE had arrived, with key figures such as Ella Rae Wise, Elma Pazar, Dani Imbert, and Harry Derbidge all being present.

Previously, Amy discussed her weight loss and the harsh criticism she received as a result, in a heartfelt conversation with OK! Magazine. She expressed, “Right now, I’m dealing with a lot, and I’ve unintentionally lost weight.

I’m always concerned about my mother, as she tends to be quite emotionally volatile – she frequently fears having another heart attack.

Despite the impression that I’m not consuming food, I actually do eat. In fact, I find myself feeling more comfortable when I carry a little extra weight compared to my current state.

Currently, there’s a lot happening – this is due to an overwhelming amount of stress. To add to that, we are simultaneously handling renovations while taking care of our four children.

Amy commented, “I may seem vulnerable to some, but remember I’ve worked in this field for fifteen years. I appreciate the concerns expressed by many, yet sometimes it feels as though people are too hasty with their judgments.

Additionally, she shared an experience where she attempted weight-loss injections about eighteen months back. However, these injections left her feeling extremely unwell to the point that she vomited multiple times, approximately thrice or four times.

In April, Julie, who is 59 years old, was urgently taken to the hospital for an emergency operation following a heart attack.

At that moment, Amy shared on Instagram that she had been filled with fear due to her mother’s health issue. She mentioned that Julie was stable but required rest, and was currently hospitalized, awaiting the installation of a stent.

A heart attack might cause a total halt in the supply of blood to the heart. A stent, which is a type of medical instrument, helps unclog this blockage and ensures the blood can flow again.

Meanwhile, Lauren recently opened up about her plastic surgery regrets.

During a private conversation with the Daily Mail in March, she confided: “I was extremely fearful about undoing my procedure, and that’s something I’m currently addressing and dealing with.

For the past year, I’ve been holding off on this, but I’m now ready to have those implants removed. I believe doing so will bring about a significant change in my appearance, which is something I eagerly anticipate.

My appearance concerns go beyond just my weight; it’s primarily about reducing the size of my breasts and buttocks. If I could make those changes, I’d certainly feel and appear more comfortable with myself.

As a devoted admirer might express: “I find myself noting that my proportions are quite pronounced due to my generously endowed figure. At certain angles, it may seem as though I appear larger than life itself. If fortune were to grant a transformation, stripping away these attributes, I’d undeniably appear more balanced and in better proportion.

I believe the issue isn’t primarily about my weight; rather, I want to focus on reducing my surgically-enhanced curves, particularly my butt and breasts.

‘Lets hope I can do it this year because I will feel so much more comfortable.’

Additionally, Lauren confessed to The Sun that the surgeries she’s had have made her feel like her body appears ‘unusual’.

She mentioned that her large breasts and rear end give the impression that she is larger than her actual size, and she discussed her intentions of returning to her previous appearance.

Lauren said: ‘I’ve ruined my looks with surgery – I hate my fake boobs and bum now.

‘I feel like my body looks abnormal – I don’t need these massive boobs and massive bum.

She added: ‘When I look at myself naked in the mirror, all I see is lumps and bumps everywhere.’
