Cara Delevingne drives home after celebrating her 33rd birthday sober after celebrating with fellow celebrity pals in Los Angeles

Cara Delevingne gracefully smiled while being seen returning home, following her 33rd birthday celebration with renowned friends on Tuesday evening.

2022 marked the start of my personal sobriety journey, and to commemorate this significant milestone, I had an extraordinary evening at the legendary Bar Marmont in the heart of Los Angeles, California – a city I hold dear as a dedicated fan!

As the actress from Paper Towns left the extravagant party, she was casually composed, accompanied by two companions in her vehicle. In the rear seat, she held a substantial bunch of flowers.

At the event, it was great to see the well-known figures Margot Robbie (known for her role as Barbie) and Jay Hernandez, her co-star from Suicide Squad, making an appearance together.

In 2022, Cara took a significant step towards transforming her life by enrolling in a 12-step program, following the appearance of unflattering photos of her appearing distressed at the Van Nuys airport.

In April, Cara showcased her remarkable change following her stint at a substance abuse treatment center, during the 2025 Coachella Music Festival.

Late last year in November, the supermodel clarified that she was still sober.

During that period, she posted Instagram pictures showing her holding a champagne bottle, aiming to reenact a famous 2000s moment as part of her Halloween celebration.

In September 2022, Cara appeared nervous outside Van Nuys airport. At a certain moment, she strolled around barefoot and engaged in a phone call while simultaneously smoking a cigarette.

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but find myself captivated yet again, witnessing my idol bend down tenderly beside her beloved pooch, Alfie, with a watchful security member standing guard nearby.

Afterward, she exited the airport riding in a stylish black SUV, with her feet visible as they hung out the rear window.

According to reports, DailyMail.com learned that Delevingne had recently come back from participating in Burning Man.

For several days, she was out in the desert with minimal food intake, leaving her looking unkempt as she hadn’t had a chance to clean up properly, according to an insider.

Last May, while speaking with Variety, Cara shared her experience of being sober, expressing, “You’re never alone.

She then motivated others by saying, “If I managed it, so can anyone else. However, it’s crucial to speak openly and honestly about it, above all, with yourself.

In my opinion, when it comes to any aspect of this profession, I’ve consistently shared my experiences, whether they involve discussing anxiety, depression, or recovery. It seems essential to me to talk openly about challenges we face because it’s a responsibility owed to others.

Given that life isn’t flawless and no one is without flaws, it’s only fair for me to be truthful.

During a chat with Vogue, Cara openly discussed her choice to enroll in a 12-step program in 2022.

In the past, my approach to healing tended to focus on short-term solutions such as attending weeklong retreats or taking courses for trauma. While these methods offered temporary relief, they rarely delved into the core issues or the more profound aspects of my healing journey.

As a fervent devotee, let me share my personal revelation: This time around, I discovered the 12-step treatment to be nothing short of miraculous. It’s all about embracing my struggles rather than feeling ashamed by them.

In the community, there was a significant impact. The antithesis of addiction lies within connection, and surprisingly, I discovered this essence in the 12-step program.
