After the resolution between Gina Carano and Disney concerning her dismissal from The Mandalorian, numerous supporters of the actress and her character, Cara Dune, have openly expressed their backing on platform X (previously known as Twitter).

Some fans have shown enthusiasm for Gina Carano starring in her own Star Wars series. One fan put it, “I hope she gets a series of her own that was initially promised to her,” while another simply exclaimed, “I’d love to see her have her own show.” A third user noted the lack of Carano’s presence in Season 3, commenting, “She was noticeably absent in Season 3. On August 7th, it was announced that Lucasfilm and Disney had settled their legal disagreement with Carano. Subsequently, she initiated a federal lawsuit in 2024 alleging wrongful termination and political discrimination, demanding at least $75,000 in compensation and reinstatement to The Mandalorian.
