On Friday morning, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons left Channel Seven viewers taken aback as she appeared nearly unrelated during a live television interview.
I first charmed audiences at the tender age of 18, portraying Lily Tucker-Pritchett in the enduring American sitcom, Modern Family.
Upon The Morning Show, she left viewers in awe with a noticeable transformation, as she sported a fresh new appearance – a departure from her previous role on the popular cult series.
The young celebrity, known for her long, wavy hair, also had a stylish bang that often hid parts of her familiar features while she talked about her recent professional decision.
Speaking about her freshly launched solo EP titled “Drown,” Aubrey also shared some nostalgic memories of her past years spent as part of the Modern Family.
At the tender age of four, Aubrey made her television debut on the show in 2009. Reflecting on her 10-year journey filming the series, she described it as a “wonderful” experience.

‘All the adults around me were supportive and lovely,’ she continued.
Besides this, Aubrey mentioned that she’d been revisiting the series lately since she couldn’t recall shooting specific episodes, given her youth at the time of filming.
In another part of the conversation, Aubrey disclosed the genuine motive behind her decision to adopt Frances Anderson as her stage name in her music career.
‘People know me as [the character of] Lily, so I just wanted to start afresh,’ she confessed.
Moreover, she mentioned that Frances Anderson is a component of her full name, and she wished to abbreviate it.
‘I have a very long name—Aubrey Frances Anderson-Emmons,’ she said with a laugh.
During the chat, Aubrey said she had always loved music.
It seems that music runs through your family, as my mother is a professionally trained vocalist specializing in classical music, my grandfather is a pianist and singer too. It appears music is an inherited talent within our lineage.

She mentioned that her recent music has been influenced, in part, by her 11-season stint on Modern Family and the events that transpired following the series’ conclusion in 2020.
After the successful release of her first single, the electropop track titled “Telephones and Traffic” in May, she subsequently released her EP titled “Drown.
During its run, Modern Family won 22 Emmys, and was a critics’ darling and a ratings hit.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but sing praises for Aubrey’s Lily from Modern Family. In the series, she’s the cherished adopted daughter of Mitchell Pritchett and Cameron Tucker. What makes her stand out is her uncensored, side-splittingly funny antics that had us all laughing non-stop!
Modern Family is currently streaming on Disney+.
