At 20 Denmark Street in London, Yungblud delivered an exceptional show during the grand opening of his store, “Beautifully Romanticised Accidently Traumatized,” on a Thursday night.
At the age of 28, the musician known as Dominic Richard Harrison (who is famously recognized as a rock star) appeared bare-chested, donning only a Scottish kilt adorned with the Union Jack, during an unexpected live show for his enthusiastic audience.
In simpler terms, the musician from Doncaster performed popular tunes like The Funeral, Strawberry Lipstick, along with the energetic Zombie and the lively Lovesick Lullaby, all of which are tracks from his latest album Idols – marking his third consecutive No.1 in the UK charts.
Yungblud appeared in his element, delivering a high-energy set alongside his backup band.
He emphasized: ‘Let’s keep Denmark Street vibrant. Let’s preserve the spirit of British music. Let it remain influential. I hold all of you in high regard. Stay safe on your journey home, and I’ll catch up with you tomorrow.’
On Thursday, the well-known artist and innovator who’s shaking up the industry opened his fashion boutique and music hall in the heart of London.
Nestled on 20 Denmark Street, this venue aims to revive the artistic flair and thrill that London once knew, fostering a fresh subculture for a new generation.
On the main level, you’ll find a retail area for the fashion brand selling clothes, whereas the space below is versatile, used for events such as poetry readings, live music performances, movie screenings, and tarot readings, making it a lively social center.
During Yungblud’s event, Denmark Street, known for being the heart of London’s music industry, was temporarily blocked off to accommodate a sequence of fashion shows. Models stood amidst iconic London settings such as a vintage red phone booth and a traditional black taxi, serving as the perfect backgrounds for these presentations.
The venue was inaugurated with an all-day battle of the bands, showcasing emerging London artists.
In the early hours of the night, unexpectedly, London-based rap artist Master Peace took the stage outdoors at the end of Denmark Street, after Balancing Act and Velvet Hands from London had performed in a lower level venue inside.
In the morning, Yungblud made a bold fashion statement wearing a white, sleeveless T-shirt featuring the word ‘Glory’ on it during the initial stages of the event. He struck several poses that caught the attention of photographers.
He paired a red tartan mini kilt with a vibrant pink sock, completing the ensemble with black leather ankle boots featuring laces.
In keeping with his rebellious flair, Yungblud adorned himself with multiple gold chains, a large set of black shades, and a cross pendant that was once given to him by the late Ozzy Osbourne.
The performer was accompanied by a group of well-known companions, such as Amy Love from Nova Twins and Georgia South, along with Samira Mighty from Love Island, who came out to lend their support for his recent endeavor.

Denmark Street, known for fostering some of the finest British music since the 1950s, holds a special place in my heart as it’s where I was raised. Ever since childhood, owning a building on this iconic street has been a long-held aspiration of mine.

After the public display of affection between the store’s new owner (presumably a rocker) and his girlfriend, Jesse Jo Stark, on Tuesday, the store is set to open. This was their first public appearance together since announcing their split.
The singer celebrated his 28th birthday this week with a trip to the Amalfi Coast, Italy.

During an extensive conversation on the We Need To Talk podcast hosted by Paul C. Brunson, Yungblud disclosed that Jesse had consented to a brief period apart while he navigated the stresses of existence under the public eye.
This year feels surreal to me since I, for the first time, have distanced myself and requested space from what I believe is the greatest love in my world.
‘Last year I was really having problems with myself and it was all a me problem.’
‘Jesse Stark is her name, a truly remarkable individual I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. She stands as my dearest friend, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have her in my life.’
In simpler terms, the celebrity from Doncaster openly acknowledged that he frequently communicated with Jesse, who is the daughter of Richard Stark, the head of the high-end brand Chrome Hearts, and a goddaughter to the renowned pop artist Cher.
He said: ‘I got to talk this through with her, and she understood and she needed a moment.
We have a weekly chat on Sundays, and it’s safe to say that she holds a special place in my life. In fact, I feel as though every aspect of my existence somehow leads me towards her. My affection for her is unique; I’ve never felt this way about anything else.
‘I adore her more than anything else. In fact, my affection for her is akin to needing water. You see, and I believe that such deep love might be unique because it allows us to be completely honest with each other, even when we are not physically together.’
During that period, the singer continued to harbor optimism that he might eventually establish a family with Jesse after addressing and resolving the emotional challenges that eventually caused their split.
As I stand here now, I realize that my life’s foundation was lacking a solid identity. I felt like an empty vessel, unaware of the passions that lay dormant within me. In essence, I was yearning to discover what I truly loved.
I’ll remain deeply in love with her until the end of my days. If someday we could build a family together, filled with children and shared experiences – living our own version of a fairytale – I would cherish that possibility. However, if that dream doesn’t come true, it won’t deter me from continuing to love her just as deeply.
