On Thursday evening, Princess Andre wore a stoic expression at a beauty gathering, following her mother Katie Price‘s criticism of an upcoming documentary featuring Andre on ITV2.
18-year-old influencer was spotted at the grand opening of the brand new Space NK store on Oxford Street, London, exuding style in a crisp white blouse and loose-fitting denims.
A few hours after Katie publicly criticized an upcoming ITV2 documentary about her, she finally spoke up regarding rumors of a dispute between them.
In the most recent edition of The Katie Price Show podcast, Katie, who is a mother of five, made it clear that her disagreement wasn’t actually with Princess, but rather with Princess’ management team. Interestingly enough, this same team also manages Katie’s ex-husband, Peter Andre.
At the Space NK event, Princess was a whirlwind, sporting a chic ensemble accessorized with white sneakers.
She wore her long blonde tresses in her usual curly style and opted for a bronzed makeup look.
On Thursday, Katie, aged 46, referred to Princess as her former friend. She stated that the reason for their falling out was with the management team when she parted ways with Peter. She expressed: “I would rather die than want her managing my children because she doesn’t like me, and I don’t communicate with her or Pete.
“She expressed deep disappointment that Princess agreed to join them at the tender age of 16,” she stated prior to the broadcast of Princess’ documentary, scheduled for this Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
Katie mentioned that the management of Princess perceived her as being “discarded,” prior to asserting that she was intentionally excluded from the show because she wasn’t considered a good fit.
Katie, along with her producer Glenn, claimed that ITV and their management team declined Katie’s proposal to shoot for three days without pay.
A representative for ITV2 has since refuted allegations suggesting that the channel had any objections to Katie participating in her daughter’s program.
Increased whispers about a potential strain in the relationship between the mother and daughter have been circulating lately, as Katie was conspicuously absent from her daughter’s 18th birthday celebration.
Initially, reports suggested that the ex-glamour model had been prohibited from featuring on the reality TV show of the so-called Nepotism Baby, broadcasted by ITV.
In her podcast, Katie expressed a desire to set the record straight. She promised to speak clearly and candidly, ensuring honesty and truthfulness in her words.

On Sunday, the movie “The Princess Diaries” will be released, and there have been numerous whispers suggesting a tension between me and the title character, who is also referred to as ‘Princess’.
A clear statement about my relationship with the Princess is that there has never been any discord or disagreement whatsoever. In other words, our bond remains strong and unbroken, without any instances of arguments or conflicts since our first encounter.
We have a close bond, similar to that of best friends or a mother and daughter. My home serves as her residence, but she also spends time at her father’s house. For the last two months, she has been with her dad due to filming her show. Our shared life together has been exceptional.
When I was working with Pete, we were both under the same management team. If you watch our shows, you’ll be able to identify who that is since the manager worked with Pete prior to his time in the jungle.
She managed or guided the storyline concerning me and Pete, including our photoshoots and moments where we could hold hands; she held the reins in these situations.
Katie went on to say, “After our breakup, naturally Pete remained with his management, keeping Pete and I apart. This situation led to the ‘Team Pete, Team Katie’ dynamic, something beyond my influence.
I’ve consistently expressed that I wouldn’t agree to have her manage my children due to our strained relationship, as she dislikes both me and Pete, and we rarely communicate. It’s deeply distressing to learn that Princess has signed with them at such a young age, when she was 16.
I haven’t been given the opportunity to review any contract, which means I’m unaware of the specific agreement Princess has made. It’s important to understand that due to management and Pete’s side of things, I feel overlooked as a mother, to the point where I might as well not exist in their eyes.
Now, with her overseeing both Princess and Junior, their future seems beyond my influence. Regardless, my wish is that they flourish, and I’ll always avoid interfering in their progress.
What I find particularly difficult and disheartening is when you actively participate in all of your children’s events such as school assemblies, holiday celebrations, award ceremonies, sports games – essentially every aspect of their lives. This level of involvement seems to be absent in our shared activities.
Given my professional background, it appears that Princess is following a similar career trajectory, emulating my work which I greatly appreciate from her. However, unfortunately, I haven’t been given the opportunity to participate in photo shoots, signings, or any Superdrug opening events.
Why is this the case? It’s due to the fact that I’m prohibited, not welcomed, and it potentially places individuals in a predicament because I don’t wish for her to feel compelled to decide between her job and me, as I desire her continued success.
I expressed to the princess my feelings towards her, as a mother should stand by her child in times of need. However, they seem to perceive me as worthless or of little value.
As someone who’s proudly raised her for three decades in this industry, I can’t help but feel offended when people question my ability to guide or support my daughter. After all, she’s not just any other person – she’s my child, and our shared experiences make us a unique team.
The princess’s TV series delves into her domestic life with her dad Peter, stepmother Emily, and older brother Junior, while also exploring her professional journey as an influencer.
She explained: “I wasn’t present on the 18th because I didn’t want the fact that she had a birthday celebration on that day, one that I wasn’t invited to, constantly brought up in front of me.
Pete avoids being in the same room as me due to our past relationship as exes. In the future, when our children grow up or get married, I believe it should be possible for both parents to be present.”

This situation is quite significant as it negatively impacts my mental wellbeing. Moreover, I find it particularly challenging as it seems to create tension between me and Pete.
Glenn, the producer for both Katie and Sophie, shared that the TV production company responsible for their show is named Optimum. They received an email from this company a few months back, inquiring whether they could utilize multiple videos from their YouTube channel.
They considered using clips of you visiting nightclubs, potentially for a show’s production. There are old videos of you and the Princess socializing together. This footage dates back to when she wasn’t yet under Cann Management, at around 15 years of age.
In other words, as a TV producer, it seems that Optimum wants to portray you as their mother, and this appears to be the best method they have for telling the story.
Sophie added: ‘Even though Sophie would be willing to film footage with no fees.’
We suggested that if they needed footage of them together, we could shoot fresh, new footage at no cost for three days, but they declined.
As a die-hard enthusiast, I can’t help but notice the intriguing potential of narrating my heroine’s mother’s story through the lens of TV drama. However, it appears that certain influential forces seem to be resisting this captivating concept. In fact, we even extended an offer for free footage, yet they declined to utilize it.
Katie went on to say, “I won’t be tuning in to the show or endorsing it since seeing others portrayed as harmonious families, while I’m overlooked as a co-parent, feels quite hurtful.
While I wholeheartedly back Princess in all her endeavors, I strongly believe that it’s inappropriate for her, given her age, to find herself in such a challenging position.
It seems likely that Princess might feel too intimidated to disclose the truth, as her management and dad may have prevented mum from attending. It’s unfortunate for Princess to carry such pressure. She should instead focus on enjoying herself without worrying about what her parents think.
Recently, the princess shared that she often wishes for a more joyful childhood experience, as she delved into the difficult periods she encountered during her upbringing, in her recently released documentary.
The prominent figure confronted and dealt with the distressing recollections from her childhood, which encompassed her mother’s well-known relationship splits.
She openly confessed, “I do have a counselor whom I occasionally visit. However, I find it difficult to open up in our sessions, so I mainly jot down my thoughts in my notes instead.
I often find myself reflecting that I might have enjoyed a happier childhood if I hadn’t had so much responsibility at such a young age.
