Each year, Universal theme parks worldwide host their premier event, Halloween Horror Nights. While she didn’t rule out the possibility, it seems that such integration isn’t currently part of the plan. According to Sauls, while there is excitement about the potential connection, it’s not something they are focusing on at the moment.

It’s hard to pass up the chance to merge Dark Universe and Halloween Horror Nights, as they seem like a perfect match. While Universal Studios Florida is an excellent traditional theme park, it can only transform into a horror haven for a limited time during Halloween Horror Nights. Dark Universe, on the other hand, specializes in scares. Imagining the excitement of experiencing attractions like Monsters Unchained, one of Epic Universe’s best rides, along with Halloween Horror Nights events, is truly enticing.
Although it’s not definitive that HHN will take place at Epic Universe, this doesn’t rule out the possibility entirely. In the theme park industry, “never” is rarely used about anything because perspectives can shift over time. To me, this situation seems more like a case of biding time to find the perfect moment to make the move.
Is it just a matter of time before Universal decides to let Epic fully develop? Could we possibly witness something related to HHN as soon as next year? It all boils down to attendance figures. If Epic Universe keeps attracting sufficient new visitors each month such that HHN isn’t deemed essential, we might find the status quo persisting for some time.
