Big Brother star Danielle Lloyd hospitalised for more surgery amid skin cancer battle

Danielle Lloyd has revealed she underwent more surgery amid her battle with skin cancer.

In February, a woman who has five children received a diagnosis of melanoma. This year, she had surgery to take out a mole located near her collarbone.

On Tuesday, Danielle disclosed that she had undergone another surgery due to finding an atypical mole on her abdomen, which required a biopsy examination.

On Instagram, she posted a video about her recent experience. In it, she disclosed that the process was swift and painless, but she’d need to wait a couple of months to learn if the mole was malignant.

In her video, she proudly displayed a mole and commented, “Although it seems tiny, its color and size have noticeably altered.

During her hospital stay, she admitted that she felt slightly anxious while waiting, but once she went in, she was completely at ease.

Before the operation, she displayed the patterns on her abdomen with a chuckle, saying, “It was amusing to notice that it seemed someone had traced the symbol of the evil eye onto my stomach.

Later, Danielle displayed her scar while mentioning, ‘Upon returning home, I experienced a mild discomfort and some swelling, but overall, I’m excited about the prospect of seeing favorable outcomes.’

She concluded her video by encouraging her audience to “learn about the indicators of skin cancer and take precautions against sunlight exposure.

Danielle labeled the video: ‘Attention: Potential Trigger ⭕️ Today, I underwent surgery for the removal of another mole, specifically from my abdomen.’

‘We’re hoping it’s just a precaution, but I’ll be waiting 8–10 weeks for results.

Be sure not to disregard any alterations in your skin. I wouldn’t have imagined it happening to me… but it did. Catching skin cancer at an early stage can save lives – it’s highly treatable when detected early.

If something seems unusual or uncomfortable, consult a healthcare professional. Take good care of your skin by using a high SPF sunscreen, covering up, and avoiding tanning beds. Prioritize self-care and the wellbeing of those in your vicinity as well.

She incorporated these tags for awareness: ‘#SkincareAwareness’, ‘#MelanomaPrevention’, ‘#StaySecureUnderTheSun’, ‘#RegularCheckups’, ‘#SunProtection’, ‘#GuardYourSkin’.

Later, Danielle dispelled misconceptions regarding SPF following a fan’s comment: “Examine the components of sunscreen! Be aware of chemicals.

The ex-beauty pageant winner retorted: ‘That’s completely incorrect information! It’s misleading posts that make people think sunscreen could be dangerous. But, if it were harmful, it wouldn’t be on sale in the cosmetics and health industry, which is stringently regulated. Frankly, it’s nonsense!’

In recent times, during my visit to Westminster to discuss sun safety, I was confronted with the claim that the information I was sharing was inaccurate. However, I stand firm in my conviction regarding the importance of sun safety.

On TikTok, some users are spreading misinformation about sunscreen, causing others to discard their sunscreen or stop using it altogether. This is incredibly risky behavior.

Lately, physicians have become vocal following numerous videos on TikTok alleging that sunscreen ingredients might be potentially more carcinogenic than sunlight itself, gaining over 40,000 views in a short period.

In this group, you’ll find influencers like Lauryn Goodman and Kelsey Parker, who have a significant following in the thousands.

Lately, Dr. X has criticized Sam Faiers for being careless and uninformed, as she admitted that her three kids seldom use sunscreen due to a misconception that numerous sunscreen brands are unsafe.

Elsewhere in the comments, Danielle revealed how she came across the mole.

In simpler terms, she mentioned that the specialist suggested having it taken out. During her six-month examination, they advised removing it only as a precautionary measure.

Additionally, she allayed the anxiety of an individual scheduled for a mole removal, as they were concerned about the pain involved. However, I’d like to offer another version that might sound even more natural:

Moreover, she comforted someone who had a mole removal appointment, as they were fearful it would hurt.

Danielle mentioned that they provide anesthetic injections to make the region numb, so it won’t hurt, instead, it might feel like a gentle tug.

The next day, Danielle disclosed that despite being commended for spreading awareness, she’d also encountered cruel comments from internet trolls on the same post.

She revealed she’d been branded: ‘old, haggard, too thin, basically disgusting’.

In my posts, I boldly stated: “I couldn’t care less about your opinions regarding my appearance. After all, I am 41 years old, and I am no longer the young woman of 20 that I used to be.

‘I’ve got five beautiful kids, I’ve got a lovely husband, I’ve got a lovely life.

If you believe I look old and worn out, that’s your perspective. However, I don’t let other people’s opinions influence me… They’re just peculiar individuals, maybe they should focus on living their own lives.

This year, Danielle shared with her followers that she had received a diagnosis of skin cancer, expressing her emotions in a heartfelt message.

Battling back emotions, the distraught celebrity expressed: “I wasn’t sure if I should share this or not, but I feel compelled to speak up about this issue because it’s affecting others too.

‘Today I have been diagnosed with a form of skin cancer.’

As a lifestyle expert, I strongly encourage everyone to pay close attention to any unusual changes in their bodies. If you notice an irregular growth or a mole that seems out of the ordinary, I implore you to schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider without delay. The truth is, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Early detection can make all the difference when it comes to health issues.

The model expressed surprise after hearing something earlier in the day, but then commended the Macmillan nurses at the hospital for their assistance.
