Timberland, the reliable brand known for workwear and lifestyle, is joining forces with the legendary video game character, Sonic the Hedgehog, from SEGA, for a unique limited-edition partnership. This collaboration, featuring exclusive boots and collaborative t-shirts, is being launched to mark the opening of SEGA’s first flagship store in Japan, SEGA STORE TOKYO at Shibuya PARCO (Tokyo).

This collaboration brings together two well-known figures in a fun and nostalgic manner. The main attraction is a modern take on the popular 6-inch Waterproof Premium Boot, now sporting a warm wheat nubuck finish. This familiar shape receives a burst of color with cobalt blue laces, echoing Sonic’s iconic electric blue hue. The boots also boast an engraving of Sonic donning Timbs on the side of the heel and co-branded text on the other side. Furthermore, Sonic is etched onto a distinctive tag, making this item a valuable collector’s piece.

The range of items includes clothing items such as t-shirts, some with long sleeves and others short, all showcasing unique artwork depicting Sonic wearing Timberland boots. These designs are offered in both black and white, providing a stylish, urban-friendly element to the partnership.

The Timberland x Sonic the Hedgehog line is an extremely limited release. Only 30 pairs of the 6-inch Premium Waterproof Boots are available worldwide, and the t-shirts come in very restricted numbers for each color. This collection will make its debut exclusively at the Timberland store in Shibuya PARCO, Tokyo, on August 9, 2025. The boots will cost around ¥38,500 ($262 USD).
