In the upcoming Star Wars film directed by Shawn Levy in 2027, Smith has become the third major actor set to appear alongside Gosling and Goth.

Information about Smith’s particular character traits remains undisclosed, but it’s been mentioned that the film includes two powerful adversaries. It’s speculated that Smith may play one of these antagonists who pursue Gosling’s character throughout the cosmos.

Previously, it was announced that Smith was set to appear in ‘Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker’, allegedly as a young Emperor Palpatine. However, his part was eventually removed from the movie prior to filming.
