The forthcoming thriller, titled “Good Boy,” featuring Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough, just got a thrilling piece of news.
The movie from Britain centers around Tommy, a 19-year-old head of a gang, who finds joy in instigating harmful actions with his companions. However, Tommy’s life gets flipped when he’s abducted by Chris.
Following discovery that they had confined him in a basement, Chris and his wife Kathryn (played by Riseborough) compel Tommy into an unusual situation, requiring him to confront his past as a criminal and transform himself into an upstanding individual to make amends for his wrongdoings.
Under the direction of Jan Komasa, with a screenplay penned by Bartek Bartosik and Naqqash Khalid, the film titled “Good Boy” is slated to make its debut at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), running from 4th to 14th September.
As a gamer eagerly waiting for the next chapter, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement knowing that the entire festival programming will be revealed on the 12th of August! It won’t be long before we dive back into the intriguing narrative of “freedom and identity” and unravel its latest twists.

At present, Graham is involved in numerous upcoming projects. Notably, he will be collaborating with Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem in the psychological thriller movie titled “Bunker“, which is directed by Florian Zeller.
The director, known for helming movies like “The Father ” and “The Son“, has consistently admired Graham’s acting prowess and aesthetic appeal, expressing, “Ever since ‘This Is England‘ and most recently ‘Adolescence‘, I have been captivated by the emotional depth and aesthetic charm of his performances.

I’m excited to collaborate with the exceptional artist, Stephen, whose rare gift of stirring emotions – from heartbreak to fear – in just one move, promises to make Bunker an intensely moving thriller,” he commented further.
Apart from his role in “Bunker,” Graham has additionally been added to the cast of an as-yet-unnamed detective series inspired by the Joona Linna novels penned by Lars Kepler. Additionally, he is set to feature in Ashley Walters’ directorial debut, titled “Animol.
Good Boy will premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival in September.
