In a candid, make-up free photo, Carol Vorderman shared a cozy moment with her dearest friend following their recent vacation, showcasing her genuine charm.

In a charming turn of events, the 64-year-old star known as ‘The Countdown’ shared a selfie with her longtime buddy, Craig Burton, during their fantastic vacation in France. She couldn’t help but express her delight.

She posted: ‘Returned from a family vacation in France (we were 12! ❤️) at my friend’s place – Tafi Art France. You can rent the entire house or just a room for bed and breakfast for a short stay, it’s truly paradise.’

Sharing insights about their long-lasting relationship, she elaborated: “Craig Burton, better known as ‘Craigy B’ (@thecraigburton), has been a part of my life for more than 35 years. We first crossed paths through mutual friends at Yorkshire TV in Leeds, where Richard Whiteley and I worked on the show Countdown.

Ever since then, Craigy B and I have been laughing non-stop. He’s a true Yorkshireman with an incredible sense of humor, and it turns out we share a lot of mutual friends.

‘Love him…. Well let’s face it… everyone who meets him loves him.’

She stated, “Going without makeup for ten days feels like paradise itself, not implying I’m sluggish in any way!

Craig, too, shared the photo with the caption: “True friends remain a part of our lives no matter what weather, grateful for our time at @tafiartfrance. If only we could quantify friendship by ‘laughs’, @carolvorders XX”.

After Carol confessed that she maintains romantic ties with five ‘unique companions’, it should be noted that despite her earlier claim of not engaging in one-night stands, these relationships persist.

Previously, I’ve made it clear that I don’t engage in one-night stands. Instead, I prefer to build meaningful connections with several gentlemen whom I fondly refer to as my ‘special friends’.

In an interview with “You” magazine in 2023, the celebrity shared that everything was going smoothly for her as she doesn’t seek romantic love and isn’t prone to jealousy.

Carol mentioned that all her romantic partners are currently unattached, and she’s fine with the possibility that any of them might develop feelings for someone else and move on.

She affirmed, “Indeed, indeed, those unique companions I have. I’m persisting with them and the approach seems to be functioning splendidly.

Five individuals are present. She mentioned that one has been a friend for eleven years, another for seven years. Her children, Katie who is thirty-one and Cameron who is twenty-five, know most of them.

Carol enjoys the autonomy and liberty that the arrangement provides her, and she’s fine with her partners desiring more closeness than it currently offers, provided everyone is open and having fun.

Everyone participating maintains a solitary lifestyle; her philosophy is to avoid causing harm to others, so meeting someone new would not pose a problem.

She added: “I don’t harbor jealousy, and I find joy in my friends’ happiness, regardless of whether they are close friends or not.

The primary purpose of my existence is to experience happiness, rather than being in a romantic relationship. To me, people and life in general are fascinating and intriguing.

In your sixties, you may reach a point where you have the freedom to pick and choose what brings you joy. However, during your thirties, you’re often focused on building your career and answering to superiors, which leaves little room for such choices.

Since parting ways with journalist Des Kelly in 2007, Carol has remained unmarried. She was previously married twice: firstly to Christopher Mather from 1985 to 1986, and then to Patrick King from 1990 until 2000, who is the father of her two children.
